Hi guys
Just checking in, 14/15 NSDs so far. Would have been more but the pound shop is near work so I picked up bits a couple of days which means I don’t need a big shop this week.
It’s my day off today and it looks slippery out and is absolutely freezing so I’m doing inside jobs and I’m going to hibernate in front of the tv this afternoon.
I’m going to attempt to get a couple of frogs off my list today too. My list is mainly sorting out areas of the flat so I’ll do it in stages and then drop off at the charity shop anything I don’t need tomorrow on the way to work.
Today I’m grateful for a day off, nice warming food and the days getting longer, it will soon be spring.
Keep warm guys
Cuddles

Hey everyone :hello:
Thanks for keeping the faith in my absence. I have been completely floored with this chest infection for the past week. Time off work, plus now exam season is in full swing I need to be marking as well. I've already been to London once this week and am heading off again tomorrow for a couple of days. I am particularly grateful for Robitussin and Ibuprofen for the past week. Also grateful for the help of family and friends, and for my kids being mostly self sufficient while I've been SO unwell.
Nothing to report when I'm ill, travelling and working 2 jobs. There's literally not a spare second in the day to get anything done. Not giving up

Today I am grateful for dh clearing and cleaning in and around the oven - it was producing a real stench yesterday, for a nice day at work, for having a car, for BIL coming to stay over, for dd cycling home barefoot again and thoroughly enjoying it, for finally earning some swagbux points, for a warm place to sleep, for my carrot soup turning out yummy.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Spend free days (NSD’s) – I'm going to aim for 20 as money is going to be pretty tight this month - now on 14/20.
Make plans for the month – I've got a couple of things planned for this month but will make sure that they are as low budget as possible - next up is theatre evening with the girls, ticket already paid for but will probably go out for a meal/drinks before.
Always pay your debts first – Budget is done for January and debt payment has been made - nothing additional paid.
List your frogs – Made a start on this and will add to the list as I think of more - nothing done.
Little savings – I've added a whole £2.50 to my emergency fund taking it to £9.50 :rotfl:, will continue to add as I can - nothing added.
Chill out – Will aim to read a bit every day. I've also got a few adult colouring books which have been sitting there for ages so will aim to do some colouring in too - spent some time colouring.
Helping others – I've set up a charity donation which will come out at the start of the month. I'll also add items to the food bank whenever I'm in the supermarket - nothing added.
Always be grateful – Will post 3 gratitudes each day. - coffee, good shift at work last night, steak for tea
New to You – Me and OH are planning to do a huge sort though of all our stuff, there's still unopened boxes from when we moved in, who knows what treasures we might find- nothing done.
Get involved – I always struggle with daily posting but will try this month - I'm here
Exercise – I really need to get back into exercising regularly. Now have new running shoes so no excuses! - went for a run today.
Sort it out – I don't really have anything in the cupboards lurking that doesn't get used except spices but will aim to use up some of them - nothing used.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.7.25 - £106,653.66

A NSD. Lots of reading, quite a bit of dozing despite a really good sleep. Don't think I'm avoiding anything, it's pleasant drifting off to sleep - maybe catching up from several nights poor/ no sleep in the past week.
Today I am grateful for food from the freezer and leftovers from the fridge (plus a whole celery used up with some dip from mum's), for not having to go out (foggy, cold, damp and very very grey) and for the washer and dishwasher (achieving something with very little effort once I'd got downstairs). I know which part of the kitchen elephant I want to tackle next (plus a tricky negotiation with DS3 over another tall person job I can no longer do).My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Yesterday was a NSD in the end. DH has the day off again today as do I but we don't have any firm plans for the day apart from walking the dog, probably to the woods again.
Had the boiler serviced, it is only a year old and has to be done annually as part of the 7 year warranty, the guy who installed it is a friend of my in laws and he serviced it for £40 which I think is pretty reasonable.
Very cold and icy here today with a beautiful sunrise, staying warm will be the order of the day I think, it's weird because I am in a wool poloneck today but tomorrow for work I will be wearing something much much cooler as it is beyond boiling hot in work then when I get home I am frozen.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Morning everyone,
We've a week left of the month, so a final push for everyone to get closer, or exceed their targets.
Today will signal 16 out of 17 for me.
Exercised twice yesterday, a run in the morning followed by football training at night. No gym this morning but I've again got football tonight so I'll do plenty of cardio. Even brought my gym stuff in case I want to go to the gym after work, as its only around the corner.
Looking forward to the weekend in order to ea some frogs, piling up a small list of things to do to round off a productive month.0
