Tuesday has been an even odder day weather wise - very overcast & dark, with some rain, until 2 p.m. Then the sun came out blazing :D We are packed ready for our trip to Scotland on the Round Britain Rally. We depart tomorrow for a week - so needless to say there will be no decluttering apart from money  All I have done today is fill the birds water bowls & do the washing up :o DH knocked up a timber stand for the squirrels & made cheesy pasta for dinner :T

1655 - 1657 Two drinks cans, glass beer bottle - Recycled
1658 Bag of kitchen detritus - Binned
1659 - 1666 Eight pieces of timber made into a stand with the feeder attached for the squirrels to get to their monkey nuts :D It is about time they worked for their food :rotfl:

Well Done TamsinC :T & excellent advice.

Welcome Picklepot - we love it when new people join us :T You are already on the way to success as you have made the decision to declutter :T I am looking forward to reading your tales of decluttering :D

Well Done GreenQueen :T back on track :D

Lists are your friends never too old :rotfl:

Excellent work bit by bit :T

Nice to know how the CS has benefitted from your donations parsniphead :T

Well Done choille, villagelife & Barny1979 :T still moving clutter out :T

I will pop in & cheerlead over the next week & get back to actual decluttering when I return :D

Thank you for your lovely welcomes :)
Bitbybit looking at your signature i think we have a lot in common!
parsniphead Wow wonderful to know money has been raised from your unwanted stuff
Mrs SD yes, hope to be in for the long term, some life changing events have made me realise things have to change

I have an ongoing paper problem :eek:in the past i never knew what i should keep, ended up keeping everything (and when needed could find nothing!) Recent PPI deadline spurned me on:rotfl:

I am also easily side tracked, distracted and flit from job to job usually leaving piles to be dealt with at a later date..erm which doesnt happen because i end up having to go through piles again (not selling myself well am i !!:rotfl:0) I have to user a timer and or number goals and get it from house immediately even if CS bags/boxes are just to car.

13 - weeded out 50 items of paperwork from random box in garage to recycling

Last night I had an impromptu declutter of the bathroom cabinets, etc while DS was having a bath. I even cleaned the sink, toilet and wiped down the tiles. I've never been so organised.

I'm just waiting for the roofer to come to quote then I can get on with some more.

    This feels so good.

Helloooo been away camping again so haven't caught up! BUT did declutter 3 items before I went away - donated a bag of dog food and a filled bone I was given, to the Pets At Home charity box. And then took a dog bowl stand I'd bought that is far too small for my lot, and donated to the dog rescue raffle.

Had to be careful not to bring items back lol, so only bought one strip of tickets and won a pair of husky socks I'd wanted for ages :rotfl:
The girls all won first place rosettes in the fun dog show, treats and bottles of Pawsecco, so we haven't bought too much clutter back in to the house :D

Is her name Nicola Lewis?? I've found that one, and she reminds me of an older version of the Nicola that is Peter Andre's friend - and there was a post where she organised Gemma Collins' bathroom.

Edit: Yep I've got the right one, just found the recycled inflatables post. Wyatt and Jack is the company and they are just over the water from me - you send the inflatables to them, they reimburse the cost! Got so many here from the kids and we've never known what to do with them, so this is perfect!!
