Decluttering: One pack of fish or seafood and one pack of bacon from the freezer into my belly. 150g/ 2kg 85% chocolate into my belly. I feel better for eating better of late. YES high cocoa choc IS healthy, it is loaded with magnesium, fibre and antioxidants. :EasterBun

:j Ex/ friend has been decluttered from temporary accommodation into his own place! :j This will help his physical recovery (recently in hospital for two months) and mental wellbeing. :j Should lead to me decluttering some household items and more bits from the freezer. :j

Oh savvy - you have been through the mill & then some :( Thank you for my Gold Star ⭐️ :T
Do you have an idea of what is in your ‘erratic attic’? Perhaps you can enlist the help of a sympathetic person (whose knees are OK :rotfl:) who can photograph what is in the attic & you can then make a plan of attack :rotfl: It is such a shame when people try to be helpful & don’t actually listen to what you want :(. Can you declutter your sons :rotfl::rotfl: only joking :rotfl:
Aye many people ask how the heck I keep surviving everything......I can't answer apart from I just keep thinking things will get better :(

Lol I honestly don't have anyone around, but nice idea. A lot of it is the lads old toys, apprently DS1 used to tidy his room by bagging it up and hiding it in the attic! DS2 said he won't fully leave home until all the clutter is sorted but gets fed up of DS1 skulking off as he now has a kid as an excuse.....hey ho.
My local council starts food waste collections from April.
Wow that's amazing!! We never get much food waste here, and if we do the dogs are happy to eat it lol :rotfl:

Sooooo, I have had some inspiration today, a very yound friend is stuck in hospital bored and her family can't get to her. So am going to visit tonight and making up a care package, mostly out of bits I have here, so also decluttering :D

3 unread mags (2 to friend, 1 to recyling)
Some unused festival transfers left over

    1 new nail file block
    3 unused nail varnishes
    2 new hotel toiletries

1 unopened McDonalds drawing toy left from ex's kids

    1 unopened cracker skittles game
    1 cracker metal puzzle
1 unused pack of pens left from ex's kids
    1 pencil
    1 sharpener

    1 pad
And I'll buy her some foods on the way to go in ;)

Mrs SD, I did indeed declutter the ood chocolate chips in the direction of my tummy. :) And I'm delighted to hear you had your door fixed: the company that originally did ours came back last year to get it to lock again and didn't charge us: I reckon they know doors don't always conform to expectations and it's worth seeing if they will include after-care. We were relieved to be able to come and go without battles that we didn't always win, trying to get it secure.

So... today I took two bags to charity, mostly of things I'd bagged up at Mum's but also a couple of flasks. I passed a neighbour who commented that I looked as though I was leaving home; I offered him the flasks and he said one was just what he needed, so I gave it to him. Such a nice feeling to see him looking happy as I left and know it was going to a good home! Other than that I've CSed a pair of (new) tights, 2 hair slides, a wine bottle holder, 8 soft toys, 5 pieces of bedlinen, 2 empty photo albums, a tote bag, 2 books, a money box and a grid that came from a table-top oven. So 26 items. :)

Decided to try to get at least one item each day, as I only really get the time at weekends for a proper go at decluttering.

194 - pretty much dead basil plant on the kitchen windowsill into the compost - it's been looking at me every time I go to the sink, and I've been putting it off!

Perhaps I should declutter my procrastination!!!

Recluttering: Twenty bars (2kg) of G&Bs 85% cocoa chocolate (reduced to clear, long dated) shoehorned into the Tardis.

    I have bargain chocolate envy!

Been AWOL for a few days due to friend staying. She brought with her some decluttering (she is downsizing) and we managed to sort through and let go 5 boxes of books and 3 boxes of old paperwork.

I can't count any of it because it wasn't mine!

parsniphead so happy for you re the PIP award and planned phased return to work.

Mrs SD thank you for the second gold star. Having bother getting my head through doors now. Glad you had a lovely weekend and are back in the swing of things. Hope DSis has a good journey home tomorrow.

Wednesday I did sweet f*nny Adams :p apart from day to day chores but DH put the 2nd coat of blue paint on the last big section of garage floor - just the bit under the fridge/freezer to do now. DSis phonedto see if we wanted anything from Germany  she seems to ignore the fact I am trying to declutter :rotfl: Dinner was cheesey beans on toast

Thursday is a gloriously sunny day so have done a small load of washing which has been line dried :T Have Done my daily chores + have sorted out the contents of the large footstool & re-sorted a wall unit drawer :rotfl: DH has moved the ff & put the concrete seal down ready for 1st coat later this p.m. & 2nd coat tomorrow. He is now putting up various racks etc on the garage wall. I am typing whilst having a coffee & then walk to P.O. to post a large letter.
