Glad to hear you had a good weekend MRS SD! :jchupachups4 wrote: »887-891: 5 tee shirts, sold, 23 euros in the travel pot

I've been doing some listing and selling myself. Nothing more satisfying than decluttered AND making some spare change at the same time! :T
DECLUTTERED
5 - a huge box of books dropped off at charity shop
6 - a huge box of assorted bits dropped off at charity shop
7 - rare photography book sold on eBay
8 - cardigan sold on eBay
9 - wardrobe emptied of clutter
10 - puzzle sold on eBay
Listed wardrobe for sale
(also decluttered my garden of a horrible Ivy infestation but I don't think that counts)
No-Spend Challenge Day0 -
Sorry to have been AWOL for a couple of weeks - I decluttered loads of stuff from my Mum's old house with the help of DH but my list has accidentally been packed away so I'll add those items when I find it. Meanwhile today I attacked the papers and got rid of 24 items and an OOD packet of chocolate chips.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

The birthday celebration was a friend of ours - my DH is also my toyboy but only by a couple of years :rotfl:
The washing that I left out overnight was dry this morning. All folded & put away :T DH put the 1st coat of blue paint on the last section of garage floor but it didn’t dry enough to paint the 2nd coatI have basically done nothing apart from declutter Season 4 of GoT off my planner
One piece of excellent newsOne of our neighbours is having their windows & doors replaced by the same firm that did our windows & doors over 10 years ago - the back door from the kitchen to the garden has always been difficult to close & my DH is the only one who can close & lock it
DH suggested I try & sweet talk one of the fitters to come & have a look at the door :rotfl: So I did - Chris came over with some tools & spent a good 15 minutes sorting out the hinges :rotfl: It now works even better than when it was first fitted :rotfl: Closes & locks easily :T
I cannot begin to describe how inordinately happy both DH & I are :rotfl::rotfl:
This afternoon I have decluttered

Oh savvy - you have been through the mill & then someThank you for my Gold Star ⭐️ :T
Do you have an idea of what is in your ‘erratic attic’? Perhaps you can enlist the help of a sympathetic person (whose knees are OK :rotfl:) who can photograph what is in the attic & you can then make a plan of attack :rotfl: It is such a shame when people try to be helpful & don’t actually listen to what you want. Can you declutter your sons :rotfl::rotfl: only joking :rotfl:
Well Done - More pennies in the travel pots chupachups4 :T

Gooooood mornnnnnningggggggg Mrs S D and everyone
Big day in my house today....getting charity to collect 5 pieces of large furniture ! We live in a big house and hope within the next 2 years downsize smaller home once all chicks have fled nest !!!
Over weekend 2 bags to charity...1 bag recycle... and 2 bags disposed off. I am actually making progress ... I can see a massive difference in the house ... its tidier for a start and its more peaceful if that sounds sensible.
Have now another bag on the go and this morning went through some china cabinets and have got rid of items that i don't particularly have any attachment to.
Keep on chucking out0 -

Bottles out to recycling and the rubbish has been put out.
I'm using up the last of a scented candle as well.
I'm using up some facial oil as body oil after my showers and baths as it doesn't suit the skin on my face.
I'm also remembering to use sunscreen on my face each day. I put the body oil, my body brush and the sunscreen out in a tub on my chest of drawers so it jogs my memory to do it each day.:)0 -

Hello fellow declutterers :hello:
I have MIA lately because of decorating the bathroom and illness. Bathroom has been painted and new flooring laid. The old flooring had been cut up and binned. I am also on the mend thank goodness ( I hope ) or DH would have been binning me too :rotfl:.
In a drawer I found 2 pairs of curtains,1 lounge pair and 1 kitchen pair which are now no longer needed and an odd one  ( don't know where it's other half has gone  ) but all now in an ongoing cs bag. Before I would have kept them all "justin" but noooooo !So thank you to this thread and all you lovely people :A
Unfortunately our TV went on the blink this week and we had to buy a new one. So now the old TV and the packaging from the new one awaits a tip trip. I'm sure we can find more items to fill up the car first though
I haven't read back so I hope things are going well even if only slowly. Keep up the good work all.
Hugs to anyone in need, please take as many as you like.
nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0
