#106 here. Congratulations to Lincoln-potter and [Deleted User]! A fantastic and well deserved achievement for both of you. I’m still somewhere between 6 to 8 years out from reaching that same financial accolade and reading the success stories like yours and others on this forum maintains the motivation to keep up with the overpayments.

So, here’s my early May update with a £1,250 payment against the mortgage account. Thanks,

    May total: £1,250
    2019 total: £7,338 / £15,000

    Evening everyone,

No. 23 stopping by to log my update.

May overpayment of £208 made today. Running total for the year = £962 of £5000.

  • #46 reporting in.

April OP ended up at £1616.68
    May payment is currently £2000

Not ure if there will be any more in May, I usually add on a couple of bits of interest but my 2 Tesco current accts have come to an end. The money's currently in another Tesco account but it pays Annual Interest, not monthly. Need to see if there are any better homes for it!

I think that puts me on 88.66% of target. Might need to revise that target!

Have a good day all... not long to another lovely long weekend :)
