    Hi, No 143 logging in

I have managed to make a payment of :

    October: £1000
    November: £2000
    December: £2000

Total repayment this year is £28,000 to date!!

so far so good, but am hoping to make an additional overpayment of another £2k before the year is out to make a nice round number....

Still £10k less than I wanted at the start of last yar, but went on a massive holiday which was in excess of that figure, so i'm still happy as got lovely memories and a fantastic splurge of a holiday, and that means more to me than being mortgage free 3 months later :)

I'll be joining the 2020 thread, but hopefully clear it in the first few months!!!!! fingers crossed :)
    Mortgage debt : -£17,000
    2019 overpayments : £23,000
  • So after speaking to the building society prior to paying off the mortgage and after paying it off, we get a letter last week saying that we either get a refund of £100 to keep the mortgage going or pay a redemption administration fee of £160! :wall:
So, no.58, £160 for December!!! :rotfl: We've had the redemption letter from the building society and the letter from the land registry now so it's definitely official that we are mortgage free!! :rotfl:
