Number 37 - I do like a nice round figure so I have paid of another £106.77 making my December total £306.77. Nothing round in that, or my accounts it has left (or the destination one) but it leaves me with a nice round 000.00 on the end of this challenge for the year, and with £44k paid, the percentage paid is 110% of my target.

#144 checking in belatedly. Just want to say a big thanks for this thread. Haven't checked in for 5 months or so, however this thread has kept me chipping away at the mortgage whilst I've been away from the site. So thank you.

I am not going to hit my target, but I have overpaid a chunk, and that is the main thing. Life must be lived, things will happen beyond our control, I still have no debt except the mortgage, long may it continue.

We weren't sure how this year would go but my application for voluntary redundancy was finally approved.
I got the first job I went for so we were able to overpay all of my redundancy. It's a great feeling to now be mortgage neutral.
