#164 reporting in after going MIA. Life has been hectic here and overpayments have been reduced to from the planned amount. We will have nice new solar panels on the roof soon, have a new multifuel burner plus I have been abroad twice and to Reading Festival so I am not too unhappy.
Overpayments since the last update:
June 200.00
July 166.81
August 84.80
Overpayments totalling £447.21 since last update.
Overpayments for the year now total £1592.93 and my mortgage has now dropped to £23,950 as of Monday morning.:j
Funny, I thought I wasn't paying anything off as things have been so busy. Good job I have a spreadsheet. :T
Over payments should start picking up now as holiday season is over.Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor. #34 here with an OP of £360 for September, hopefully there will be a little more later in the month, good luck for September everyone.
Thanks to JulicornMFW #34 2020 £1000/£40000 -
No 70 reporting an OP of £219 for September. It feels a bit of a drag at the moment but making the payments anyway and hopefully I will come out of the other side soon.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1530/£2700

#46 reporting in.
OP of £1200 this month, Total OPs this year of £11,736.18 against my £8000 target.
Total mortgage payments of £20,509.97.
Feels a total drag ATM, not reducing quick enough. Might need to play with a s/sheet or two to get some motivation. I just cant see where I can get any more from, given everything I need to pay and the house to finish.
WOndering whetehr to focus om the smaller mortgage - much small amount and a slightly higher int rate. Maybe if i see that reduce quicket it will motivate me.Decisions decision......
Need to find out how to update my sig too!
Thanks for all your efforts Julicorn!
Have a great Sept everyone!

If you look for User CP (Control Panel) when you are logged in to MSE you should find "edit signature" under that.
I use the old-style display and it is down the left hand side of the screen on a PC!Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £9586.01 out of £6000 after August (158.45%)

Hello,
Number 93 checking in with overpayments of £640.47. Covers June, July and August as I have forgotten to log in a post. I'm happy for it to all be logged in August.
Must do better for the last 4 months if I'm going to reach my target.
Thanks
More tea please0 -

I know what you both mean - i'm finding it a right old slog at the moment too. It's weird, because i'm almost at the end (9 months to go at current rate) and the mortgage has come down hugely this year, but somehow almost having the end in sight is making it feel harder. Trying to break it down into little chunks so I feel like i'm getting somewhere each month, but, blimey, i'm so ready to be done0 -

Thanks Suffolk Lass - managed to find it and update. I am pleased someone else is using the old style (as the old not logged in version - display....one day my access just reverted to it and I cant seem to get to the new style version.
All sorted- thanks for your help!
