    not really, i could debate untill blue in the face, but your like a broken record and add nothing new.

    When i get my refund which is likely to take ages i will report back.

    The solution is to have the sender pay the tax before posting, or to mark the item as a gift.

    having a large post count means nothing if you add nothing constructive, infact other words from my previous post cover this perfectly.

    Even when marked as a gift the value of goods have to be declared

    OK, so what have HMRC replied to your written complaint to them ? What has your MP got to say about it ?

    My earlier post offered a solution to the problem but you would not like it as it would cost you more, around £65 on top of the duties.
