The article and its links give zero info on PAYG tariffs, so are not just useless but a positive waste of time.0

I had a contract phone from work - Nokia 6020 on O2. Job now finished & need to make other arrangements. I can keep the phone & I have all the chargers & car attachments so seems sensible. All the comparison sites seem to be based on getting a new phone, or am I missing something?
Usage difficult to estimate as I never see the bills - the more minutes I can get the better but could probably stick to approx 250 plus 50-ish texts per month.
Any advice/ideas, please?0 -

Have a look at Virgin Mobile's Liberty Sim. It offers 300 mins and 300 texts for £15pm and no minimum term (just give 30 days notice). They also have more minutes at an extra cost. If you do go over your inclusive minutes it cost 15p/min flat rate - I think (might need to check that). Only one issue is that you might have to unlock your phone first though.0 -

I wonder if anyone can help me. My wife and I text abroad a lot (within the EU). We both have tarriffs that are pretty good value for inclusive minutes and texts within the UK, but texts to international numbers from the UK are a rip-off (I pay 25p per text on Vodafone, and she pays similiar on T-Mobile).
I've used OneCompare and other sites in the past, but none of them give any info on texts to international numbers. In addition, its quite difficult to find it even in tarriff details. Does anyone out there have a better recommendation for international texting?
Thanks,
D.

Does anyone know where my son can pick up a good deal for contract mobile and mobile internet ? He is a soldier based in Chatham, kent, currently in an 18month O2 contract paying 35 per month for mobile, and £29 for mobile internet through T mobile. The service with Tmob is dreadful, no signal at all, he has been trying to sort it out for weeks but no joy,,,they never phone him back and ive advised him to cancel the direct debit and sod the consequences.
His mobile phone contract is up in 3 months, I wonder if anyone knows of any deal out there that might be good for him, tied up with one company preferably, and a service that actually works !!

A long shot, but you never know. I am looking for a SIM-free, unlocked, super-simple (therefore also cheap), clamshell GSM handset taking the standard SIMs (not 3's USIM) for my parents in Greece. It will have to support Greek. The problem is I can't easily check what languages a handset supports before I buy it -- this is not the kind of thing sales people would know about. Any advice would be much appreciated.0
