I haven't had a chance to post recently, but the good thing about being part of this thread is that it's been at the back of my mind when trying to save money :j

Well done on everyone else's potting - it's an inspiring thread :money:

In the last few weeks I've potted the following:
Hubby and daughter couldn't go to panto as she was poorly :( so a friend came instead and gave me £20 for the tickets
We skipped breakfast club all week last week, which totals £10
Just been through my purse and found 64p to pot

So that totals £30.64 for my pot :j

How do people cope with digital money for potting? I am selling some things on eBay - though I didn't realise the charges now for postage too so I'm making pennies :( But have some money in my PayPal account.

I've also started using the job spotter app. and am up to £7.36 in Amazon vouchers - could I take that out to add to the pot? Though obviously will need to take the money out of my purse :rotfl:

Oh and I used a £5.50 Quidco voucher in Pizza Express last night for my daughter's birthday meal, can I add that to my total?

Anyway the potting approach is working, thank you :T

    Good evening everyone :hello:

Well, I hope you're sitting down... I have just received (and potted) £52 to my pot from TopCashback. I used the site to book hotels for a jaunt away with my mum. :j :j

And £5 potted from my former SW membership. More to pot, but my brain is addled after a fuzzy week at work. Thank goodness for the holidays!

    [STRIKE]Morning[/STRIKE], afternoon all!

Only twice at breakfast club for my daughter so that will be £7.50 to pot later on!

Reading other posters' I need to also check my cashback sites and claim anything and then can physically pot more money :money:

Having a NSD at home... gah though I now realise I've already spent some money on Amazon this morning, so no NSD really :o

Oh and this is a reminder to me to pot the £5.50 Quidco voucher I used the other day.

I need to physically pot £13.

    Hi Potters!

    siju Have a lovely Christmas!

Potted £1.75 in 5p's and a few coppers, leftover from last month's budgets.

Good Afternoon SPC folks! I hope everyone is well and looking forward to a lovely Christmas!! :rudolf:
To all those members who are poorly or feeling low in any way, do take care and get well soon. For now, {{{hugs}}} from us all at SPC. :grinheart

An excellent start, Saving Glut!! :j You'll be amazed at just how much can be saved during the course of a year, especially as we all tend to become quite addicted. So, be warned! :D

I'm so pleased you're on your last day, siju. Have a wonderful Christmas and a very safe, healthy New Year! See you next year and great potting!!

    Brilliant work, dustydigger!! :j

What an incentive post, MushyPeas! We do have quite an affect on member's lives, addiction it's called!!

Fantastic potting!!!! :D I hope your DH &daughter are much better now.
You can include any Paypal money into your SPC money as it's from goods you sold on E!ay. It's fine to include your Amazon bits and bobs, Quidco too!!
    Keep up the terrific work!!
If you're sent money in a digital forn, cheque or similar then we have members who withdraw a sum from the bank whenever it's needed and work their savings around that. People might say, what about not receiving interest, but every so often members count up what they've saved, put the Total onto their signature and then bank the money.
Incidentally, have you read my 1st post on Page 1??! I think not!! :naughty: Seriously, why not go down through it, there are some important parts on there that you should be aware of.

Brilliant potting, Maddie!!!! You really have started off well. :j

WOW Vicky, haven't you done incredibly well!!! :eek:I'm chuffed to bits for you!! :dance:Time to unaddle (I've never heard of the word but I'm sure there is one, there is now!) your school brain and engage your Christmas brain now, good luck with that!! :xmassign:

Well done whatever you potted, Purplemumof2, it's all going to add up as you know only too well!! :D

..and so you should feel very pleased with yourself, elsiepac, you're doing just fantastically!!! :j A very Merry Christmas to you too!

Not the best of times for me, so close to Christmas and I've got a trapped nerve behind the right hip! I've had it for 2 days so I'm hoping it might clear off before Christmas! £5.60 in the pot after hubby came back from shopping, bless him. :kisses3:

To all those of you who won't be back anymore before Christmas?
Have a very Merry Christmas and a very safe, healthy New Year!

Have a really great weekend, folks, only 4sleeps left!! :xmassmile:santa2::snow_laug:santa2: :xmassmile
