Hope everybody has a good Christmas as Im not sure when I will be able to get on the laptop after tomorrow morning, as Im out in the day and then family turn up in the early hours Xmas morning and the fun begins lol!!!

Goodnight SPC folks! I hope everyone is well and looking forward to a super Christmas!! :rudolf: To those of you who might not be looking forward to the season, I hope it goes relatively quickly for you and is better than you first thought. :)
To all those members who are poorly or feeling low in any way, do take care and get well soon. For now, {{{hugs}}} from us all at SPC. :grinheart

Ok MushyPeas, I see what you mean, at least you now know what's what. :D

Fantastic work, taskey!!! A lovely sum potted! :j

Good to see you potting another £10er, Robin, very well done!! A very Happy Christmas to you too, enjoy yourselves! :santa2:

Aha here she is at last!! Hello again jakes-mum, d'you know you've only been here ONCE since the new thread began!!!

Sorry to hear of all your health problems, I hope you're both well enough to enjoy Christmas with the children. You'd best up the heating though as it's set to be chilly a little while after Christmas! Time to hunker down then for sure! Your youngest will soon get into the Christmas spirit come Christmas Eve.

Congratulations to young Jake on passing his driving licence, our eldest grandson (father of our latest DGGS) passed his last month too!
You are so fortunate with your uncle passing on his potted cash, bless him!!
Good luck with finishing the blanket.

Thank you so much, 32b3, it's still as bad now but I'm remaining hopeful especially with Christmas so close! I had the feeling you'd have finished for Christmas, a shame you're on call but I guess someone has to do it. You have a really Merry Christmas and fingers crossed you don't get called out! :snow_laugWell done with the money potted. T & I also potted a full black bag of clothes on Monday, I do wish the homeless could get in there and take them.

Great potting, Loz, with a very good total so far!! :D

A great idea about waiting for the surprise in October instead of knowing exactly what you'll have in your pot, Choccygirl!! More amazing additions!! :j

Very wise words to jakes-mum, James, don't worry though as she's not on the border line but cautious about where her pennies go!!
Thanks for your kind thoughts about my hip too. I've been using Voltorol as advised by our Pharmacist. It's done little good yet but I'm not giving up. I really do hope you're soon able to get another washing machine, maybe after Christmas in a sale!!
You have a very Merry Christmas and a very happy New Year James and many thanks for the hugs! :rudolf:

Bless you Vicky, it is painful but I've had worse. I think I see what you mean and that the upshot is that you've saved another £5er!!! A very Merry Christmas and a safe, healthy and Happy New Year for you both also!! :xmassmile

Brilliant potting, Homegrown!! Here's hoping your hubby has something to pot! :D

A very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to you too, MrsShazbat!!! :santa2:

Great potting NannyG and a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year to you also! :snow_laug

Have a very Merry Christmas and a very safe, healthy New Year!

Have a lovely Monday, folks, only 2 sleep left!! :xmassmile:santa2::snow_laug:santa2: :xmassmile

  • Had a quick catch up and lovely to see all the coins and notes being potted away. Nothing to update for me, although did hit big time on one poll with 50p surgery taking me to £28.90.

Sorry to hear about your health problems Jakesmum. I'm on tramadol too and it's horrendous stuff. I can just about function with it but have to take morphine for break through pain and that knocks me out. Have you considered cannabis oil? I'm thinking about it, but its not cheap.

  • Potted 3 x £2s tonight.

Once again Merry Christmas everyone! :xmassign:

Merry Christmas everyone! :xmastree: Have a lovely day.

Potting opportunities have been limited but hopefully I might be able to pot some cash soon. :)

    :xmassign: Merry Christmas Everyone. :xmassign:

Hope everyone has enjoyed their day.

I've been awol for a couple of weeks following my news. Thank you Sue and Deleted_User for your wishes.

Nothing potted for a while. Again haven't been using cash so no pennies to pot. I got paid last Friday but moved it into a separate account until 28th when I should be paid. Shouldn't need to touch it this week, not spending on Xmas / Boxing Day, my nans funeral on Thursday and then working on Friday. Hopefully have some change to pot over the weekend as need to do a small shop for my little girls 3rd birthday.

Have a fab Boxing Day everyone.
