Morning all!
Loving reading about all your potting and I'm very impressed with those who pot pounds at a time! Mine will definitely be more coppers and silvers, but it all adds up I suppose!
The total for last year is phenomenal! Crazy to think that just those odds and sods of change added up to that huge amount!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old Style, Crafting and Techie Stuff boards. If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Morning all!
Just popping in to say that I've been terrible, but then I've been VERY good :rotfl:
Bought 2 x £2 scratchcards while in my local shop the other day. I do love a scratchcard, but I've tried really really hard the last few months to buy none, it's just a waste of money! So spent £4, didn't win a penny back, and felt really guilty.
So I got home and put a £5 note into my tin to make up for it :money:
I was away with my work for a weekend there and bought a drink at the bar, and the lovely bar man gave me THREE £2 coins in my change! Safely kept them and they are now nestled in my jar!0 -

I sometimes buy the off scratchcard too, need to be in it to win it. I also feel really guilty when I don't win though
Yay to the £2.00 coins!

Hi Hicksy, be careful with your toddler, given things you've said in the past, be sure he doesn't get thinking it's normal to take rather than wait until he has things given!
Well done with your savings!!
He usually waits But He expected it as I didn't buy him a treat this week. I've told him it's because he was naughty hitting baby. He went on a strip but apologised this evening. Yes I defo need to watch him.SPC#19 - 7-£666.54, 8-£489, 9-£264 10-£376 11- £305.8p 12 £329 13 - £315 14/£214 15 £177 16 £253 SPC 17 £0 of £250

Hi SPCers!! I hope you didn't get too wet today, DH & I did during walking our Lab.
Thankfully she too hates rain so it wasn't too long a one!!
To all those members who are poorly or feeling low in any way, do take care and get well soon. For now, {{{hugs}}} from us all at SPC. :grinheart
Whether it's pounds or pence we save, elsiepac, it's what it means to us all as individuals that counts. One thing SPC does is encourage members to save as much as they possibly can ...I bet the same happens to you as you become addicted!! :j
You did excellently, Thrice, and turned things around for yourself, well done!! Oh those beautiful £2 coins!!!
Aren't they just gorgeous, Dolly!!
I see, Hicksy, I agree too with him hitting your little treasure! He'll learn. Did you see the PM about your new SPC No being 077? Little by little I'm getting everyone sorted ... the list too thank goodness!
Well spotted, NannyG!Enjoy your Thursday, folks, less than a week to go!! :xmassmile

Hi Sue-UU. Thank you for the warm welcome!
I deposited a combination of spare change from different sources to kick-start this challenge with the sum total of £6.71. I would much rather feed my money box than the vending machine at work!
I intend to save all change, £5 notes, roadkill and seriously resisted purchases only. However, this is subject to change, should I be inspired by other ideas on this forum!
Although I won’t set a target, I am curious how much this will all add up to in time for Xmas shopping next year.:oIO BTL1 Mortgage was £97,693.54 on 09/08/18; £83,140 on 31/12/19.Sealed Pot Challenge 12: #078: £150.36
