Yes I have seen that saying many times myself, I can't think of a Business you are less in control of or have less say in or don't own anything apart from a lot of catalogues.

So not only does Kleeneze not work, according to you, I as someone who DOES work it now have to be kind and gently and allow anyone to come around the areas that I do and say hey that's ok I have customers around here but you go ahead and help yourself to them to any "newbie" who then may get orders but decide "it's to hard or it's raining I'll get wet" and never delivers the customers orders, despite the fact that I have been going around regularly and sorted out any problems for my customers for the least almost 6 years.
Kleeneze decided in their wisdom we don't get areas (which I have no problem with as it works both ways, I go where I want to) so therefore I look after and treat my customers well and as I said every so often I reblanket and I always pick up new customers, this is my way to try and discourage "newbies" from going into my areas but I don't stop them they still do every so often and I DON'T pinch catalogues.
There are still plenty of customers I won't got to or who don't like me so there is still room for more, when I first joined as a "newbie" unknown to myself there were 6 agents in my small town 2 newbies including myself and 4 established distributors now there are just 2 of us left so agents come and go just like any other business. Shops come and go businesses come and go.0 -
Quote from geordie joe
"You said you owned a business, but what exactly do you own? You may say you don't get paid by kleeneze, but you get commission from the kleeneze stuff you sell. As I said earlier, without kleeneze you would have nothing.
Nobody is buying your products and they won't care if you stop doing kleeneze and someone else takes over. It is kleeneze they are buying from."
When I used to be in full time employment the first company I worked for for over 12 years went bust because their best customer went bust and they owed us that much money we couldn't survive, the same happened with another company I used to work for after I had left, it happens all the time so what is different about that compared to the relationship between kleeneze and it's distributors, worst case scenario if they closed us down I'd join Betterware, s..t happens so what you move on IF it happens you don't worry it might happen x years down the line.0 -

Well at least you have a plan B, which will probably come in handy after Christmas.
The business only works for the very tiny minority! as proven by the retention and drop out rate.
I feel very sorry for the people who get conned into Kleeneze by being told they can make good money part time on the back of their jobs in a short period of time only to see them start and get a reality check when they try.
Even people like you and me who have reached the Gold level in the past know it can be harder to keep that position than reach it, we both must have been doing something right to get to that level in the first place and put the required hours and effort in that was needed, but still it fell apart as like countless Gold Distributors I could name.
I don’t see very many web-sites or adverts, flyers etc that mention the catalogue side or even the Kleeneze name at all, we were always taught
“Lead with the lifestyle, nobody joins just to do catalogues”
AKA.. do what you have to do, but just get them signed up!0 -
So not only does Kleeneze not work, according to you,Well actually I said It used to, but its started to decline for the last few years and keeps on heading in that direction. I as someone who DOES work it now have to be kind and gently No but maybe civil and courteous as you would want people to be with a member of YOUR team and allow anyone to come around the areas that I do and say hey that's ok I have customers around here but you go ahead and help yourself to them to any "newbie" who then may get orders but decide "it's to hard or it's raining I'll get wet" and never delivers the customers orders,Thats what everybody else would do but YOU EH? despite the fact that I have been going around regularly and sorted out any problems for my customers for the least almost 6 years.
Kleeneze decided in their wisdom we don't get areas (which I have no problem with as it works both ways, I go where I want to) so therefore I look after and treat my customers well and as I said every so often I reblanket and I always pick up new customers, this is my way to try and discourage "newbies" from going into my areas You just said you don't get areas but I don't stop them they still do every so often and I DON'T pinch catalogues.
You said that your town has 20,000 people and you have 1,000 customers.
The company state you should pick up maybe one customer in 10. When you take into account, that town would struggle to have enough customers left for anybody else apart from the other one you have there already.....this is common in a lot of towns..
SO MY QUESTION IS....HOW THE HELL IS KLEENEZE SUPPOSED TO DUPLICATE AND GROW? LIKE IT IS SOLD TO NEW AGENTS.
There are still plenty of customers I won't got to or who don't like me so there is still room for more, BUT YOU HAVE JUST SAID "this is my way to try and discourage "newbies" when I first joined as a "newbie" unknown to myself there were 6 agents in my small town 2 newbies including myself and 4 established distributors now there are just 2 of us left so agents come and go just like any other business. Shops come and go businesses come and go.
MY POINT EXACTLY, THATS WHY KLEENEZE DOESN'T GROW BECAUSE ALL IT DOES IS REPLACE AGENTS WHO HAVE QUIT OVER AND OVER AGAIN!

geordie_joe wrote: »Nope, she is quite right. You don't own your business, your business is Kleeneze's.
If it was your own business you would be able to source the products from any other outlet. You would be able to sell anything you wanted, as long as it was legal.
Alll you have is the Kleeneze catalgue, and if Kleeneze go out of business you also have no business.
You are no better than a pub tenant, who rents his pub from the brewery, has to buy everything from the brewery but his wages are defined buy the amount of sales he makes.
Go away and find out the difference between a managed pub and a freehouse, then come back and tell me you own something. Something that doesn't depend on Kleeneze for it's existence.
Lie #9. MLM is the best option for owning your own
business and attaining real economic independence.Truth: MLM is not true self-employment. "Owning" an MLM distributorship is an illusion. Some MLM companies forbid distributors to carry other companies' products. Most MLM contracts make termination of the distributorship easy and immediate for the company. Arbitrarily. Participation requires rigid adherence to a "duplication" model, not independence and individuality. MLM distributors are not entrepreneurs but joiners in a complex hierarchical system over which they have little control.0 -
Explains it quite well.Problems with MLM are numerous. It has all the hallmarks of a scam though. Promises of great wealth, pictures of fancy cars and constant questions like "how would YOU spend the money?" and statements of emotional blackmail about the family you do or don't have. Every brochure is overloaded with testimonials about how easy and relaxing collecting catalogues in the pouring rain is, from people who have just got up out of their nice comfy seat. Not.
MLM Explained.
Multi level marketing is where you have an upline (a person doing it already) advertising it, usually like the sign shown above. A person then calls up the number on the advert and then pays up to £180.00 to get a "starter pack" which consists of a manual and a load of catalogues. You buy your own catalogues £1 each, all the equipment is payed for by the distributor (you).
Money earned from it is uncertain and unprofitable. If no one chooses to buy the products (which are quite expensive and often poor quality) then you get no money. If you do get money, so does your upline, the person who introduced you-and so does the person who introduced them. Don Failla, a man made rich though MLM, says in a book of his adapted material
"the difference between a pyramid scheme and a MLM is that a pyramid scheme is illegal."1

1,000,000,000
10,000,000,000Above: the Kleeneze/Pyramid model. An important thing to realize is that the wage you will earn will be significantly less than than the national average. Are there wealthy people in MLM? Yes. There the ones at the top doing no work, and even they only get a small per centage of what the company makes.0 -
This hits the nail on the head as well...Lie #7: You can do Kleeneze in your spare time. As a business, it offers the greatest flexibility
and personal freedom of time. A few hours a week can earn a significant supplemental income
and may grow to a very large income, making other work unnecessary.Truth: Making money in Kleeneze requires extraordinary time commitment as well as considerable personal skill and persistence. Beyond the sheer hard work and talent required, the business model inherently consumes more areas of one's life and greater segments of time than most occupations. In Kleeneze, everyone is a prospect. Every waking moment is a potential time for marketing. There are no off-limit places, people, or times for selling. Consequently, there is no free space or free time once a person enrolls in Kleeneze system. While claiming to offer independence, the system comes to dominate people's entire life and requires rigid conformity to the program. This is why so many people who become deeply involved end up needing and relying upon Kleeneze desperately. They alienate or abandon other sustaining relationships.0 -
It's time to bring this to a close.
If anyone would like to discuss Kleeneze please keep it friendly and pleasant.
Thanks!
