Today I am grateful for more good swimming, for dh coming to watch dd in the pool, for family time together, for Bond films, for stuffing bunny legs and bodies, for knitting 2 poppies for a display at work, for big sis coming to visit us.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Xmas: Researched OH’s gift. By buying something I don’t need but which might yield other discounts and using TopCashbacx site, I think I can save 25% vs if I was to buy it direct. Will call company to confirm tomorrow.
NSD:12/15. Left home early to drop off car for service so popped to W8rose for impromptu breakfast and lunch.
Income: Total extra income for October is £198.51. Completed survey. That is all!IO BTL1 Mortgage was £97,693.54 on 09/08/18; £83,140 on 31/12/19.Sealed Pot Challenge 12: #078: £150.36

greent sorry to hear about your nan I hope you get the chance to see her when you get back.
NSD number 16 here. Worked from home today so went to the gym this morning, then had a physio appointment, and by lunchtime had a banging headache so laid down for half an hour. Managed to get rid of it by the evening. OH was naughty and offered to buy chips and I was naughtier and succumbed! Mainly because I think I'm one dinner short between now and payday so it saves me buying more :rotfl:
Early night tonight, my neck is hurting (think that's the source of the headache) so taking myself off to bed with a heat pad to hopefully sleep it off.0 -
NSDs - I'm sorry to say I've not managed any more NSDs so still on 11/15.
BUDGET - I did my supermarket shopping today and only overspent by £1.32. I'm happy with that.
CHRISTMAS- I bought fruit and suet today to make mincemeat at the weekend.
EXERCISE - Plenty walking done yesterday up and down train platforms on my way back home :rotfl: Must get back into a routine and restart exercise dvd and walking.
I'm hoping to not spend anything for a few days - fingers crossed xxDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

Hi all :j
Challenge: Oops forgot this one yesterday! Don't smoke & rarely drink either, so it has to be giving up unhealthy snacks. Tried very hard today, all snacks fruit or yoghurt..
Organise. Start as you mean to go on. Know the contents of your fridge, freezer and cupboards. Plan your meals around them. Cook from scratch. Don't buy anything you can make unless cost /time taken dictates otherwise. If you are new to turtle challenges or still have full cupboards you could try living from the cupboards. Lunch was HM pate & soup, supper steak & jacket potato plus veg, all tasty.
Regular budget items should be set by 1st October. If you don't know how much you are spending on food or petrol, now is the time to find out. Question every purchase - need or want? Yet more purchases today, not food but other items inc a couple of stocking fillers for Christmas.
No Spend Days. Aim for 20 (high target) or 15 (low). Am aiming for 15 but hoping for more. Still 15/15.
Improvise. Make do and mend with a creative twist. think of a substitute ingredient, how to make an old/broken piece of furniture last a little longer. Border that I ordered has arrived - think it will do nicely to do up downstairs cloakroom & avoid having to repaper round the sink & dado rail where the paper has got grubby. Made mackerel pate out of piri piri mackerel plus herb quark, sounds awful but DD is now addicted to it & it's so easy to make..
Exercise Four times a week at least (20 minutes minimum but can be done 10 minutes at a time). Get outside in daylight as often as possible. Only about 10 mins outside today.
Christmas DH went to purchase stocking fillers, plus needle arrived for my makes.
Banned Will only be chippys normally with the odd takeaway planned for a celebration etc. No takeaway today.
Extra Income and Extra time Have £40 already in Sains points.
Report in, daily if possible I'm here..
Go turtles !!New start JAN15 - NOT BUYING IT 2015 . Long haul DFW #145 : 2011 DEBTBUSTING : £5500 OD GONE, £2000 OD - GONE £93,610.30 cc & loan debt - GONE 27.6.14 FINALLY DEBT & MORTGAGE FREE :happyhear0 -

I am going c/shopping today..Executive decision.
I need a winter coat. I am going hunting.
Apart from that I should not spend anything as I have everything else I need.
Even DS2s daft foot tech ingredients - it is the third time this year he has made pizza. I mean, come on! Oops, sorry, he made stuffed doughballs once.
Anyway, it is using up stuff left over from last week, and the fridge is looking quite nicely empty.
So, if I am successful I am still on NSD17 and if I am a failure I will be on NSD 18.
So sorry about your Nan greent - have a lovely holiday in Portugal.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Hello turtles!
Challenge - I have been working a bit harder on my spanish but it's not really enough to make real progress. Going to step up my game next week.
Budget - did some sums earlier and everything is looking ok for this month, I may end up with money left over, which never happens. Need to remember this and not spend frivolously so that I can pay off some debt at the end of the month. Although i really want to treat my baby sister when she comes next weekend. I also want some new trainers but will wait until next payday.
Banned - I had 2 glasses of wine yesterday. I've become a 2 glasses of wine person! never thought I'd ever have the willpower but I'm doing it!!
NSD - yesterday was 17/20. Today I will do the food shop but won't spend anything else. Tomorrow should be minimal spends for coffee and a couple of glasses of wine with a friend. Next week will be the killer as it's a bank hol but I have budgeted!
Xtra income - may take on 2-3 extra hours of teaching on a Friday. I really cherish having fridays off but I could save so much more, private lessons are easier generally than my bread and butter work, and its cash in hand for spending.
I'm grateful for being able to appreciate one or two glass of wine after a hard day's work and not feeling the need to have more, for some nice feedback I received and for feeling motivated.Student loan £5655

Morning all :coffee:
Sorry to hear about your nan greent - lots of love.
I haven't managed any nsd's yet this half term, which is amazing considering that I have almost zero pounds in my purse... It's been a few small spends, plus Christmas stuff for the kids. I'm going out again with bestie this morning to pick up a few stocking fillers for the kids. I will also browse the charity shops (inspired by f0xh0les) and see what I can get there. I think I'm almost done in terms of shopping for Christmas - which will be a huge weight off my mind. Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
