I'm still reading along but not really doing much.
Many thanks to everyone that has asked including 1LL I was happy to hear those forms are done!!!
Now have the district nurse involved. Unfortunately I can't get back to my original specialists until funding issues are sorted. Apparently new paperwork/rules mean that if you need treatment in England but don't live in England you now have to jump through hoops to get to England which is very frustrating when there is nowhere specialised enough where you live to treat u and u have been treated in England for the past few years so they know my case inside out. Will get there in the end but never have I seen a GP so frustrated and battling on my behalf.
Have been plodding on with trying to do some decluttering of the living room as with everything all plans have gone out of the window.
Have started to go back out, popped into town yesterday for a few bits and send a birthday present
Getting back to the paperwork, hoping to slowly ease back into work next work.
Money saving going on, and with DD being a moneysaver, shopping bills have been good. Need to start tracking spends again, that has gone by the wayside.
Weather is very miserable here today so the plan is to try and declutter a couple more items, plus a couple of parcels arriving. Bagged a deal on Felix posh cat food with Amaz@ns on the deal of the day-worked out at £1.69 a box so that's the cats sorted.....just where to store it!!!
A big welcome to the newbies

Morning all :hello:
Hope everyone is doing ok. We have had our insurance confirmed they will pay out :T so we have lost the cost of the excess but at least we have some money coming back to us :T
Other things:
Get something from freezer for tea
Make some sausage rolls or a sausage plait
Make a cake, use ingredients we have - thinking pear and mincemeat
Haircuts at home although not by me, that would be too dangerous :rotfl: still much cheaper than going to salon and we only have it done every 6 months
Vacuum through after ^^
Investigate flapjack things for next weeks cake as will need to get creative to avoid going to the shop
Sew up a pair of DH trousers
Go for a run
Check banking
Check for surveys
Check £co
Check for tomatoes, second plant has started ripening :T
Possibly roast what I have whilst something else is cooking in the oven.
Have a good day everyone.0 -

Evening all :coffee:
HK - yours is the third story I've heard today about the NHS that makes me want to scream. It's so desperately underfunded that it rarely seems to go right any more... hope you get sorted without too much trouble.
I have had another utterly manic and completely hectic day at work. Falling behind already - I just cannot be in two places at once. I needed to mark a set of books but got called into a meeting...
Busy after school as well: took ds to his swimming lesson, then we drove home over the new Northern Spire bridge which ds really enjoyed, made dinner, fed the cats, put the rubbish out, changed the cat litter trays, put a bottle of vinegar into the bin to try and freshen and clean it a bit, picked dd up from her friends, updated YNAB (scary but at least I know), and am now watching some telly. I need a shower before bed, and another early night. But I have bagged another nsd today...Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control

Morning all :hello: it's Friday and I'm working in my home town for the day for about only the third time in 15 years :rotfl: which should give me about an extra 3 hours
Yesterday I managed a pear and mincemeat cake. Recipe here for anyone with spare pears or mincemeat.
https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/166620/pear-and-mincemeat-crumble-cake
It makes a lovely substantial cake (always take some longer than time specified though :rotfl:) but I make some of that back by not cooking the pears
I also used the last of some mixed spice bbe January 2005 :rotfl: it's not that I don't use it often I just seemed to have multiple packets at one stage and I've been working my way through them. Ate a piece last night and made it through the night so I'm guessing it's ok :rotfl:
Today I will :
Check banking, update sheet. Money for insurance payout pending for Monday
Hopefully sneak in a run if work finishes sufficiently early
Something from freezer for tea
Crash out on sofa with DH tonight and watch something on Netfl1x, he's had a really long week at work
Check budget journal
Make opticians appointments as reminder has come through
Balance just for points cc
Place order for smaller business
Label some items for tomorrow so hopefully I might get them back if they go missing.
Small has left over sausage plait for packed lunch, dd has soup. Work will buy mine
Have a good day everyone. Purps.0 -
