Morning all
Welcome Dreamsofaunicorn, hope you decide to stick with us
HK, glad to hear that you are getting out and about again, and hope you get the treatment you need soon!
DD is coming round with kids shortly, so I don't anticipate getting much done. However, after my mega housework binge yesterday, I am happy to take it a bit easier, if indeed dealing with the requirements of an almost 5 year old diva and an 8 month old is 'easier' :rotfl:
Woke up a bit abruptly for some reason, so took a bit longer to function properly this morning! Done so far:
Healthy porridge breakfast with fruit and yogurt
Made raspberry muffins with raspberries from the garden
Making soup for dinner with ingredients mainly from the garden
Washed up / tidied kitchen
I don't anticipate getting much else done, but don't intend spending anything. Will freeze some of the muffins, and am planning pesto pasta and salad for dinner0 -
Hey everyone
Hope you all have nice weekends, I’ve woke up feeling like I have a hangover - which I don’t!! Work was crazy yesterday so am putting it down to that. OH already kindly made me one coffee but I might need a bucket load before I start functioning properly.
Todays plans
- Collect food shopping and have healthy lunch and dinner
-Washing on and out to dry
-Clear out some old clothes and take to charity shop
-List old fitbit on Ebay
-Was planning on the gym today but will have to see how I feel later
-List unused wool on eBay or start knitting scarves with it - its a gorgeous colour so may do that instead
-Make soup out of left over veggies
Off to get my second coffee now

Hello can I join you all please?
First thing that is bothering me though is how do I find my post again so I can say “done when it’s done!
I’m beyond rubbish at this sort of thing!
So my list for today is
Do a food inventory starting with freezers. Done. I’ve got the weeks food already in there, so meal plan done Yay
Homework with C. He hates it, so this may be a challenge mostly done!
Look at finances and see where we are at
Do one of my 3 baskets of ironing
Wash school uniform on 30 and dry on rack Done
Change and wash our bedding Done
Watch a promised movie with C snuggled up under a quilt. (We are all full of coughs and colds
Right off I go to see what I can get done!
Have a lovely day

Hi all,
I'm feeling much happier then I was yesterdaySorted the family issue as best as I could and hopefully its a lesson learned for those involved.
Today we have
* socket off at the wall for ds2s alarm clock
* registered with the new gp surgery
* popped to Sains to spend £8 off a £40 voucher, bought mainly basics stuff, tinned tomatoes, beans, pasata, soup , kidney beans etc
* home for brunch rather then eating out which the "old" us would have done.
* downloaded some games for the kids on the ps plus thing
To do
* Triage fridge and put together a use up salad for tonights meal, as well as the veggies I know there is a bit of gammon and some tuna mayo to use up
* watch a film from our stash for movie night with the kids
* rm surveys
* message sis about ideas for my nieces birthday - thinking we could go for a meal using mr T vouchers (wrapped her january sales yankee candles and mug with her name on yesterday in reclaimed gift paper)
Sticking with the "Small things" thread to keep up us on the straight and narrow.

1LL - I'm pleased to read that you're sorted with new gp
HK - hope that you're doing ok.
Welcome to new people - we are a lovely bunch - just dive right in.
I have been a busy bunny this morning - barely stopped. Not a nsd as I've been out shopping this morning, a top up shop at Aldee and some specialist cat food for my naughty tortie in an attempt to get her weight up a bit. Also had to walk round to Mr A to get pepperoni pizza for ds as Aldee were sold out and that could have been an issue - helped me to get my steps up.
I have also done my tutoring (day off tomorrow), and am waiting for bestie to arrive with coffee. Looking forward to that today as I'm feeling a bit tearful for no good reason - my anxiety is through the roof...
Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control
