Morning all :hello: well done on clearing the debt baileys babe
Ziggy sending you hugs
For those with 'spare' courgettes. This recipe is lovely, had it last night and uses lots of courgettes. Unfortunately mine didn't germinate this year so I had to buy some :rotfl:

My list for today:
Checked banking
Paid an amount we have been repaid to cc despite the fact I would have clearly loved to have kept it in th current account. No false accounting here
Meals for tea already prepped and in freezer, just need to cook tonight
Washing off airer that got wet yesterday, just need to put away. No ironing :j
Chilli and chocolate soup for lunch - thanks determined for the recipe. It's yummy and so easy to make.
Check surveys
Pay some subs but have them in savings
Hot drink for commute from home
Have a good day everyone. Purps.0 -

it will take over half our savings to cover this month's outgoings:eek: but we will have cleared our final debt with the exception of the mortgage :j
Yay. That's amazing Baileys Babe.

Today we are going to the next village with binoculars to see if we can spoke a local dolphin, or anything else interesting. We'll take a snack, a foldy-uppy chair and a flask. No luck with the dolphin but lots of lovely sunshine.

Quick round up of yesterday:carrielovesfanta wrote: »- B/L/D from stores - done
- Msg OH to ask him to pick me up some Kefir as I have wrecked my stomach balance over my time off - done
- No alcohol. This has crept up slightly again. - done
- No sugary stuff - again, been on a bit of a nibble with this. - done
- Work overtime - didn't need to

- Charge phone in work - done
- Wash on 30 deg. OH to put out. - done
- Get all my timesheets up to date as I have some overtime to claim - done. Also realised that I have 7 holiday days to use up! Have booked 4 of them.
- Gym at lunchtime - just did some stretching as have a cough and cold at the moment. Nothing serious but left me a bit short of breath. - done
- Message my mum to see if they are planning to come up this month. My dad won't commit until a week before he comes up which is pretty unfair on us. Apparently I will be cooking for them! Blimmin busman's holiday for me eh?? - done
- Move some monies online due to TSB breakdown. Again  - done
- Poss a bit of sock knitting if time tonight. - done
- Freeze bits that were hurriedly put into fridge now that there's room in the freezer - done
- Water greenhouse - forgot
- Check that new gas/elec tariff has been applied to account - done. It has applied. I went for the 3 year fix in the end. Seems like a good plan.
And today's mission:- B/L/D from stores - done
- No alcohol. This has crept up slightly again. - done
- No sugary stuff - again, been on a bit of a nibble with this. - done
- Charge phone in work - done
- Check when my mobile contract runs out - done. Not til January.
- Ask OH to put a loaf of bread on - asked
- Gym at lunchtime, see how I feel as I'm still coughing a lot - done
- Research some sort of lettuce soup. I have lettuce to use up but we're kinda over salads now. Does anyone have a recipe? - done
- Knit sock - ???
- Water greenhouse - no
- Commit to an NSD. I sometimes feel that NSDs are a bit of a fallacy because if you need to buy something and it's budgeted for, then it doesn't really matter when you buy it... I've seen people defer purchases until the next day in order to accrue an NSD - but you're still spending the money! However, I'm trying not to give in to purchases on a whim (out of pocket money) so maybe it's a good thing at the moment for me.

Ours does.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -
Ours only gets direct sunlight for part of the day - it grows like mad, and contrary to the textbooks, I force it every year (put a big pot over it in late winter for early pink sticks) to try to keep it from becoming too rampant.0

Hi all
I am officially the owner of an absolutely massive pan for making jam and chutney and stuff. Cannot believe it - and she gave me some of the other bits as well, a funnel and thermometer. So, I promised that if I got the pan then I would make the effort - and now that needs to go on the list. Not before the weekend though as I'm way too busy at school.
I have bagged another nsd as I'm so busy with work. Can't believe how hard I'm working and still not getting everything done.
Leftovers for tea, and shower and early night planned.
1LL - is it done?Not giving up
Working hard to pay off my debt
Time to take back control
