  • Called Plusnet - reading previous posts I recalled with some horror my experience of TT  although I suspect it has improved now, and yes I was also with O2 :) and totally happy before they were taken over by Sky. Anyway, I called Plusnet and was fairly quickly offered the same deal as Molerat yesterday :-

Free BB for 12m, £75 Cashback after 60 days, £16.99 LR. I opted for evening & weekend calls at £3 per month, making a total of £13.74 per month when cashback is included - my previous monthly payment with Plusnet was £29.99 per month, so fairly happy

Does anyone know who has the best track record for service and reliability? Every one I look at has awful reviews.
We are with Plusnet ATM but am really unimpressed with the customer service and long wait times, my daughter also claims that the service drops out during the evening?

PlusNet actually fare better than most in surveys but if you really want good well rated support , look at a smaller ISPs like Zen, but compared to the obvious big ISPs, they aint cheap.

I just signed up to Sky, it's £16.40/month but should get me £80 from quidco (fingers crossed) and there's a £100 reward from sky, as well (basically cash back) which works out to a net cost of £1.40 per month, lol.

Will be £17.40 from tomorrow but I'm sure you can manage that extra £1pm. ;)

Pity Sky cashback deals don't include any fibre, our connection isn't brilliant.

I take it you're referring to upgrades from Sky ordinary BB to fibre BB as cashback is certainly available for new customers taking fibre?

I would be a new customer, I think there's some Quidco/TCB but not the £100 reward?

I guess (hope) it'll be the same as ever, I've had talktalk and EE so far in this property and there's no real difference. All comes through the same cables, innit :money:
