Thank you, Greent, and well done for yours passing the driving test. Doesn't it just feel so good when they accomplish something. Doesn't matter how little. It's just a great feeling to see them moving forward.

Lovely sunny day here despite the forecast saying dull all day. Went cycling first thing then took DS for a haircut and DD to the bank. The kids have Halifax Young Saver accounts and some bright spark at the Halifax has decided to take away the atm card which came with the account so they can't get cash out and have no way of identifying themselves in branch. Have had to change the accounts to one with a debit card which DD thinks is fab.

After lunch we nipped into town to fill up my car and buy DS some new trainers, they are all he wears, he got the last ones over a year ago so I think he gets our moneys worth.

Also got a skirt for me in the CS, two brand new M&S bras in Oxfam for DD and a hoodie for DS.

I need to remember to be kind to myself. I am my worse critic. I am obsessing with debts but its all talk. I am following the Dave Ramsey plan and cant even save the £500 needed for the first step because I cant stick to it. :(

Sorry I find it really hard to be kind to myself.

I have however, started envelope budgetting. Does anyone else do that on here?

Sending hugs who are struggling at the moment.
A - Will definitely be asking if it is necessary before purchasing. Had a small slip up today. Not going to get stressed about it.
J - 5/20 NSD. Was a spend day. Food shopping. Had haircut. Booked hair appointments til the end of the year. My hair dye is nearly all gone off my hair. Liking my silver hair
U - Will be looking into cupboards etc and make sure I will not buy unnecessary and use what already in. Stuck to most of the shopping list. Did some baking - used mostly what I had in. Did buy cooking apples.
N - Will bring lunch etc if going out etc. Not needed today.
E - Have to make a special effort to more healthy eating. Limited as to how much I ate.
    O - Will do.
D -Have DD for money already set up to go into savings. Had put some extra money into savings account today. Also asked about savings accounts.
E - Not done today as doing a charity 5K walk tomorrow.
S - Have set my budgets.
S - Donated things in bag to charity shop.
    E - Checked in.
Y - Took it easy in the afternoon. Did wordsearch, reading, mindfulness colouring.

Today I am grateful for a quiet day, for finding out that neighbours (noisy child ones) will be away for 2 weeks as from next sat, for dd enjoying dance and actually being happy to do her show tomorrow, for my bunting (makes me smile whenever I see/hear it), for dd making some faux leather shoes for her china doll with only a little help from me, for a good book to read, for the tennis to watch.

Indigo - I've only tried the envelope system for all of 3 days and I hated every minute of it, so I'm no help to you!
