    see ya suggs beahve yourself:D

bails I agree your company would look forward to having a starter if they are diabetic like me, because at the end of the dinner there is nothing to look forward to, as I have said before my starter is going to be fish either the lobster or the crab/crab sticks so it is healthy but it is something lovely to look forward to, in my new WW recipe book there is a replacement mayo recipe 1/2 point, virtually fat free mayo...
2oz of very low fat fromage frais
    1/2 tsp of dijon mustard
    1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice
1/2 oz of low fat soft cheese
    salt and black pepper

mix until smooth and season to taste, simple as that:D

Serve with the fish and lemon wedges, delicious:D

pixiedust I agree with you, I am not going to go mad and eat all xmas holidays but there will be eating on xmas day and the cold buffet on boxing day, I am hoping to go straight back to normal eating from the 27th until the 30th , then eat again on the 31st and Jan 1, then back to normal on the 2nd Jan to cut down on the damage, (last year I put on 8 lb in the 2 weeks xmas leave)I am trying to make it as WW friendly as I can with the help of buying all the WW chipolatas/bacon/making my own sauces etc here is a good one for all purpose gravy, not tried it yet but wherever calories can be cut I am in:D

    Gravy...
    low fat cooking spray
    1 small onion chopped finely
    1oz plain flour
16 fl oz of veg stock
    1 tbsp of soy sauce
    1 tsp of tomato puree
    freshly ground black pepper

Spary pan with fry lite, cook onions for 6/7 mins, stir in flour, cook for 2 mins until light brown. Gradually blend in stock, then soy sauce and tomato puree, bring to boil, reduce and simmer covered for 10 mins, season to taste.

Going to try that one for the xmas day gravy, have def not bought hoards of stuff, avoided Iceland where they sell pary bite nibbles that are high in fat/calories etc and I used to buy masses of them and eat them by the bucket load! Got some sainsburys be good to yourself sausage rolls, some healthy eating mini eclairs, plenty of fish, only one tin of sweets rather than the 4 we used to have (one each and mine was pretty much eaten by everyone else as well because sweets do not make me feel good!) such an expense, such ganets we used to be:rotfl: :rotfl:

Been to the hospital, need drained again, steroids injected in, nausea tablets given, sit with it elevated for 2 days, see you in 2 weeks, done:D

I tell you what, kids.... the soup is brilliant, and soooo simple.

    Here's the recipe as requested

Winter Warmer Parsnip & Ginger Soup
200-250g parsnips, peeled and roughly chopped
100g cooking onions, peeled and roughly chopped
500ml stock made with Bovril or Vecon
Fresh ginger root to taste, peeled and finely grated (about the size of a walnut, or more if liked)
1 tsp of fresh lemon juice
    Freshly ground black pepper
    Parsley to garnish

    1. Put all the ingredients together in a saucepan and simmer for 40-45 minutes or until parsnips are tender, adding water if necessary
    2. Place in a liquidiser or food processor and puree, adding water to desired consistency
    3. Serve hot, garnished with parsley

Serves 4, apparently. SW values = Free 4 points per portion

...Whilst I was looking for the above I found this ideal body weight calculator Although it takes into account your frame size, it does say that you should take it with a pinch of salt :D but I was wondering what any of you think to it's "accuracy".
Here's a more accurate way to determine your frame size (some of you could just have extra long fingers) :-)

    Ideal Weight Range
    144 - 148 pounds (10 and a half stone)
    65 - 67 kilograms

this is about what I am aiming for!
