You don't -- you sound like an exceptionally thoughtful partner. And if she doesn't appreciate it ...... well the bitey boot hasn't been seen for a while!0 -
v impressive . . . .menu ajax. I'm sure she'll love it!

katiepoppycat wrote: »Bails - Christmas 2008 is a looooong way off. Thats 12 months to either come up with an excuse, plot dark things to do to p her off or hire a hitman/bus driver to solve your problem. You'll be fine!
Alternatively bails, you can find an excuse to log on while your at the dementors and I'll arrange for an emergency post: "help, I'm drowning in a vat of deep fried brie and cranberries, need urgent restraint." Then you'd have to rush round to 'help' me and we can put our feet up for a few hours. Win win situation.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

..........I tell you what, kpc, I always had a feeling that you and I could have some pretty serious bedroom fun, but now I'm certain.... how exciting it would be if we could get in some B&Q flatpack furniture? - would be like all my Christmases had come at once.0 -
That menu sounds lovely Ajax, what a thoughtful boy you are! Hope it all goes well and Mrs A is suitably impressed. I too would like the soup recipe please. As for the flatpack furniture, it's never really been a fetish of mine but we'll see if the drawers 'do' it for me next week (got sidetracked last night and am off to Manchester again today for the weekend. Blimey, I may as well move there
. Good job the tickets are half price on pigsback :money:)
Loving all the ideas for avoiding the Dementor next Christmas - definitely book me in for an emergency feet up session BB
Good luck at the hospital Victory, there's always an up side eh?
Thanks for the PMs peeps, I'm trying to free up some time to reply after work today but if not and I don't get a chance over the weekend, I'll definitely get back to you early next week xThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Hi Peeps :j
First of all a happy St Andrew's day to all our lovely folk north of the border...
...I've given up worrying about Christmas. I tried to get away with not going back home, got the filthiest of looks from my mother, and gave up that arguement!
:rotfl: :rotfl: I can well imagineWe mothers get very adept at that look, it comes naturally at childbirth and then we have years of practice honing it to perfection
...
...Brightonbelle Lovely avatar :j ...
...ajax I hope you managed to get the sorbet done last night, sounds gorgeous. Good luck for tonight, lucky MrsA!!, my husband has never done a romantic thing for me(miserable git :rotfl:)...
...georgiebrown0 I'm sorry to see that you're struggling to get started and writing things down should help, if it doesn't, try one of the links found at the start of this thread, (or try this one for speed), to find out how many calories you can have but still lose weight. This link will give you a few ideas on how to get started, it's quite basic, but sometimes it's so easy to overlook them and a gentle reminder never hurts. Both sites have other very useful information that will be able to help you if you want. Anyway, let's hope that you're a loser next week...
...Whilst I was looking for the above I found this ideal body weight calculator Although it takes into account your frame size, it does say that you should take it with a pinch of saltbut I was wondering what any of you think to it's "accuracy".
Here's a more accurate way to determine your frame size (some of you could just have extra long fingers) :-
Determining frame size: To determine the body frame size, measure the wrist with a tape measure and use the following chart to determine whether the person is small, medium, or large boned.
Women:- Height under 5'2"
- Small = wrist size less than 5.5"
- Medium = wrist size 5.5" to 5.75"
- Large = wrist size over 5.75"
- Height 5'2" to 5' 5"
- Small = wrist size less than 6"
- Medium = wrist size 6" to 6.25"
- Large = wrist size over 6.25"
- Height over 5' 5"
- Small = wrist size less than 6.25"
- Medium = wrist size 6.25" to 6.5"
- Large = wrist size over 6.5"
- Height over 5' 5"
- Small = wrist size 5.5" to 6.5"
- Medium = wrist size 6.5" to 7.5"
- Large = wrist size over 7.5"
or  . In my case I'm 5'3" and small framed (hey I like that :j ) and gives a weight range between 107lbs and 111 lbs which is one of the lowest I've looked at today ...
...As you can guess I'm not too busy at the moment :rotfl: , only ironing to do (hardly likely to rush to do that am I?), and it's quiet on here too...
...I think I'll go and look for some more Christmas smileys...

Hi Petrichor
It is quiet on here, been logging on and no change!
I tried the ideal body weight calculator and I would say it is on the light side - it gave me an ideal range of 9st 13 - 10st3. I've had my stuff done professionally and my ideal range for my body is actually 10st 1 - 10st 9.5 In fact, that was some 10 or so years ago now I've just realised  so, taking my age into consideration, I would expect my range to be heavier than that. Hope that helps.
Just packing for Manchester, looking forward to it! Had a chat at school about doing some supply and that seems possible so happy about that. And there was a fight in class today - just like old times! All in all a good day so far!
Have a great weekend everyone, may pop in for a quick hello but catching up with two sets of friends this time so may be busy xxThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000
