Bails, I hope all ok, and big hugs as always, just wanted to say that a few years ago, and I had to do a back to work plan it was hard work and took alot for me to sort it. Once sorted I actually got frustrated as I could start back for a month, but once back it did take time, I used to 2 hours on, 2 hours lunch, then 2 hours on after a few weeks. My goal was different to you in sofar as I wanted to be back in the same job full time in 3 months. It worked in the end :) But it can and does take time, and you can and will do it, even if it does take longer than you think.

We are hear to help so please wibble away. sometimes just talking and writing things down helps.

Thanks guys, I am in dire need of those hugs today, not feeling very lovely Tiby! Haven't exactly figured out what it is yet, but have a sneaking suspicion I'm feeling v frustrated about work. Was made to reassess again yesterday and I know it is going to take me a lot longer still. I am so fed up of the financial insecurity and lack of independence, especially with OH still being a student and all the benefits changes that are happening soon. I know there are people out there worse off than me, it just gets too much sometimes, you know? Sorry for wibbling, trying not to eat my unhappiness! :o

bigcry.gifreally sad for you bails. Been there, am there, got the tee-shirt. And it's very tough. consoling2.gif . I know it's not enough, no where near enough, but maybe make a list of the progress you have made compared to 6 months ago?. Every tiny little thing has got to count when progress is so slow.foryou.gif. And it's ok to have sad days -it's what makes us human. And together we can be with you and each other when we're sad and when we're excited and on a roll.

Hi all. Well I have had an interesting few days. A power cut at my daughter's nursery meant issues with her childcare (but thankfully DH stayed at home with her). Today, power finally came back on so they reopened at 9.30am (better late than never) - oh, and forgot to mentioned that our house lost power last night at 7.30pm and is still not back on! That means no heating or hot water and a gradually defrosting freezers. Great! Did I mention that I live in London, not in the middle of nowhere!

I have also had very erractic weigh-ins recently (I guess this compounds the reason for not weighing your self every day! - AGAIN). Today, my scales say that I weigh 3.5 lbs less than last week. I am going to take that as my reading (despite other weigh-ins in the week saying a wide variety of things!). Inspires me to try hard this week to keep at this level.
  • Well done on some good weightlosses coming in today - suggs, another 1lb down , grannynise - getting very near your 1.5stone :j and beanielou slow but steady:T ,starlight - shame about the initial 3lbs! But still heading downwards, that's great.
And well done my fellow maintainers: loads better than a gain gels :D Marathon not a sprint blah blah blah
Good luck pet on the bra hunt :D . Being measured is a great idea and I must be due to be redone myself.

well done everyone that has lost:j :j :j :j suggs another pound still doing something right;)

Day was nervous, stressful but it was o.k I guess:rolleyes: got the hair cut (wanted a different one but was told could not have it) caked in make up, absolutely plastered:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: photos, looked awfuly gaunt, stressed in many of them but three were good so bought them for the bargain price of £12.50 each as he rattled on about £315 packages:rotfl: :rotfl: got the one free, bought 2 and am happy not to have spent masses that I did not have on the luxury of seeing my ugly gaunt face:rotfl: I chose the three that looked more professional that the normal ones that I could have taken myself.

I was pressured and bullied (even called the man a bully, he laughed with me and said it was a business he was runing and had to pay his photographers!!)

All done now, wouldn't want to do it again though

I bet he paid himself more. Well done Victory, it sounds as if you were the one that drove the hard bargain.

We always think we look awful in photos don't we? See what your friends/family say - and when they say you look great BELIEVE them.
  • Well done Suggs :j and efrieze :j so close to 100 will you try and do it before Christmas? Hope your heating gets sorted out pronto...

...Went shopping, I hate it :o decided to send DD in to get measured first (I'm a devout coward) and she had to take her top off, so I didn't bother. Found out that she was already wearing the correct size, so I shall go with how I've always measured myself...

...I did 24,884 steps, my feet are killing me...I did have a Starbucks skinny orange and cranberry muffin, but as it's all that I've eaten yet, it shoudn't be too bad. I've googled them but can only find the calories for the skinny blueberry muffin at 305 cals, so I'll stick with that until I can find the right one...

...Bails 7xdiq1u.gif Don't try and rush things, you aren't going to solve everything overnight, and don't worry about it (that's great coming from me:rotfl: but it's the voice of experience, do as I say, not as I do!)...

    xxxx
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!
