that is just taken from a website, very posh obviously!! but there are many more, just put it into google, 6 course menus and loads come up, have a look, get some ideas:D

......wow thanks victory. I'd not considered googling as thay had to be LW-friendly and easy to make. Guess it won't do any harm though.

Hi Guys & Gals -not been on since friday just had about 9 pages to catch up on. I have been rolling around the floor in fits of giggles!! I had my interview last night went ok. They are going to look into how peoples availability fits into what positions they have available. They are getting people in the door quickly tho & its not a new store its just for xmas staff. 3/4 sets of group interviews each day. one guy came in for induction when our group went out to do a bit of shelf stacking and he only went in yesterday morning for the interview. They said they would let people know today & induction would be saturday. Not heard anything yet but I guess I need funny hours cos of my DD & OH. Money's not bad its £5.95 an hour starting pay not bad for temp work. Won't get a uniform unless taken on permanent then money goes up to about £6.45 an hour then you get your discount card after 1 year which i think is about 20%. As I said not heard anything yet but guess they're interviewing again today, but going down there in a bit to do my shopping. Anyway gotta go my DD is sitting in the kitchen shouting at me that she's finished her tea and wants to get down from the table ttfn xx

I have the last 10 saved, roughly 20-25mb in size each! and will be working on converting Radio 4's Cult Classic "I'm Sorry I Havn't a Clue.." which I record on my DAB in MP2 :)

.....aint technology great? I used my DAB to prepare the music rounds for the pub quizzes I used to write, and an mp3 splitter to trim them down. I do listen to the podcasts of the News QUiz, Wake Up To Money and Money Box too. I think we should move this to PM lol....

SHort but sweet emmalis, hi and bye :) Good luck with it!!!

    Yep - that's me short & sweet (i'm only 4ft 11!!)

I'm back now till about 6.00 ish then going to meet my mum at Tesco's and do my shopping (no i don't need my mum to hold my hand round the supermarket but she does come in handy when you're broke and your card gets refused at the till!!) - anyway everything gets reduced to penny's at about this time in our store - just have to walk past the 10 pk of jam doughnuts for 5p a bag telling myself I won't like them or enjoy them!!!! & perhaps get the 5pk for my OH & DD to share - i only get them though when they are silly prices like this would never pay full price cos i'm a tight @rse!!

Suggs - i've been naughty again this week nothing in particular just not been as carefull as I should be!!!

Victory, have you spoken to the studio and told them you need to be away by a certain time? With your booking information does it say how long the shoot is expected to take?

I would suggest on arrival you make it clear you need to be away by "x" time (give yourself a little bit of leeway). Take the changes of outfit as they ask, and say you are happy with one or two changes of outfit, ask for their opinion on which would look best in the pictures.

Don't worry about the spots, a good photographer can and should zap any temporary blemishes out in seconds for the final prints (retouching looks much nicer than caked make up).

If they try to make you feel bad over not buying any of the extra pictures (and I hope they don't), keep reminding them of what the deal was in the first place. If they really try it on and say that their stylists won't be able to feed their children because you are so stingy(!), ask them why they haven't set a realistic initial rate for the work they carry out.

Remember it's your money, you are paying them for a service like any other. You don't go into M&S and buy your knickers and expect them to try to force you to buy 10 more pairs before you leave.
  • Hi all, been feeling rotten and not hungry at all, I weighed myself this morning (225.8 lb) but I've eaten very little the last couple of days so I will prob stick a bit back on when I get my appetite back.

So a tentative 2.2lb loss this week.

Bails, glad you survived the weekend! Any more classic comments like the 'too cold' ice cream? :rotfl:

Suggs, I did the 21+21 workout and improved my score to 690 :p I wasn't feeling at my most energetic today so I should be able to throw a bit more effort at it next time and maybe hit 700  AND you've just moved the target up a notch to 856! Haha!

Ajax, I'm still chuckling at "dullard bint" :rotfl:

Victory forgot to put congrats on your STS :DAnic, congrats on your loss too (is that the second or third time I've heard of Boots scales being out of order since I joined here?) Raphael, congrats on your loss even if it is a tentative one and hope you feel loads better very soon.

Emmalis no discount till you've been there a year? Blimey. Good luck, hope you get the job.

Last week I suggested to KPC a mini-stepper to use while cooking and I'm now going to see how practical that actually is :p (yes, I ordered one and it arrived today. Naughty Missy).
  • Ok... So I know *why*... But... 2lbs on this week. I had an incredibly bad weekend lol. Back on the menu plans this week, and remembering to take lunch to uni rather than buying something fatty and unhealthy from the canteen!
