the meal for MrsA, how lovely (another thing that I can only dream of) but one thing to consider is to prepare as much as you can beforehand, if something can be made and frozen the week before then do it, don't leave everything until the last minute; it's all in the preparation.

......I can't, it's going to be a surprise. All I can do is practice first and then throw it together on the day for when she comes home from work.
•
I don't think the relatively minor changes in the temperature that we experience make us use that much more energy to keep warm. We put more clothes on and turn up the heating. But I think it's in our minds... mother always told us to have a hot meal in cold weather .... and also because somehow we know that we can more easily hide inside our clothes in the winter! But if anyone's making soup I'll have some please.
It's ok for us southerners grannynise, but I noticed beanie lives in Scotland and hasn't it been snowing up there this weekend? Also, it's different if you aren't alway so well: you can feel the cold more. Is anyone at school noticing your weight loss yet? I hope so.
Joeyemma - thanks for the link - I remember seeing a programme/item about this some time ago. Complete disgrace: usual window dressing rubbish vs those who actually work on the ground and see the devastating affects of cuts.
Weigh in delly: put me down for a maintain again this week please - can't drive with my bad back so won't get to meeting tonight.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Right back form the gym, for the beneft of missyg I managed 21min Cycle level 13 - 423 cals, 21min Cross Trainer level 11 433 cals Total 856 Cals

Breakfast was a big bowl of porridge made with water in the microwave, I find it you leave to stand after the microwave, it tends to develop a better 'salty' flavour. Lunch was some left over home made chilli with rice, peas and sweetcorn :)

Good to see a STS for you Victory, all the best for tomorrow, and I echo Ajax, take the freebie and run :) Petrichor I will be your fantasy anytime you like ;)

Ajax, cant help with suggestions for your great idea, but not heard of sobert for the second course, but thats probably my lack of education :) Does it all depend on what MrsA likes and loves? So just get a silver plater and lie down on it with the chocolate sauce ;) I remember the Heather Mills quote :rotfl::rotfl:I still giggle at the German a few weeks ago "init to win it" :)

Study is going poorly at the moment, still cant get into it, will keep on at it though, to be fair I am distracted by trying to get the Nokia N95 8Gb out of vodafone for the cheapest possible on upgrade, got them down from £225 to £50 and half price data pack for 9 months at the moment, shame its only on 18 month contract though

Thanks for the bits about the complaiment, it did take me aback and yes I did blush :) But it felt really good as she wanted all the detail. Favourite line.
Her - so you managed it by cutting down and going to the gym
Me - yes, its not easy to start with
Her - But you in here every week, that cant be helpful
Me - It is when you have skinny latte :)

back soon

Well obviously you aren't a soft southerner either. If you will live in the wilds of the...midlands...
I trust you and Mrs A rolled around naked in it and then thrashed each other with birch twigs?
Of course if it had snowed down here the news bulletins would have been full of it :D

Hi there

I can't believe how many pages I've missed since I last logged on.

Good to see you back Ajax and Pet and you too Suggs - wouldn't have been the same without you - well done with your 27-0 score too and I bet you were chuffed with the compliment in Starbucks.

Glad the weekend is over for you now Bails - back to the enjoying your job and forgetting about the Dementor for a wee while

Glad your dinner went well KPC and I love the tast of Raita - so would have it over anything - rice, peas, sweetcorn or anything. Any chance you could give me a copy of your recipe. I've never made it before but quite fancy trying it.

Oh Dragon - so sorry to hear about your ankle - I hope it gets better soon.

Hello Joeyemma - nice to see you

Brighton Belle - sorry to hear your back is still giving you gyp - I hope the medication works and you can get some comfor and are feeling a bit better.

How did the interview go Emmalis?

Victory - don't let the boss get you down - keep your chin up - you are better than her!!! Enjoy your day tomorrow. Remember you have already paid for one photo, if you don't like making a fuss just say something like you have just got a hospital appointment in that you have been waiting a long time for so would they be able to cut the sitting short as you need to make the appointment.

Well done Marion and MissyG on the losses and Victory and BB for not gaining.

Sorry if I have missed anyone out.

Just logged on to post my loss for this week.

The Boots scale I used last week had the cheek to be out of order this week so I had to go and find another one so how accurate it is with the other one I don't know but according to that I had gone from 100.3 kilos to 98.5 (a loss of 1.8 kilos) or 15 stone 11 to 15 stone 7 so a loss of roughly 4 lbs and my grand loss of 2 stone - yeah

I have the last 10 saved, roughly 20-25mb in size each! and will be working on converting Radio 4's Cult Classic "I'm Sorry I Havn't a Clue.." which I record on my DAB in MP2 :)
