Hmm... Forgetfulness isn't a good thing at this age vixarooni! It's not showing much hope for the future
krayzechick, I'm not far off 21... But I'm happy to go with the mental age theory (although that could possibly make us Team 3 1/2...!)

Hi Peeps
I hope that you're feeling brighter today, but thanks delly for this:-dellybelly wrote: »I cou'dn't help but think of her last class when she was telling us about the sacrifices we all have to make to lose weight. She loved butter but only ever bought 1/2 a pound of butter at Christmas!...
The only time I ever have cream and a small bit of demerara in fresh coffee is Christmas morning (with a warm mince pie) and this year I was going to skip it, but you're leader was rght; so I think I'll treat myself (I still may skip the pie though to compensate), it's hardly going to ruin the whole year, and I do love it then...
..Bb Well done on the size 14 trousers :j ...
...Woo for Team 21... *gets the pom-poms out*
I'm 21 (AND A BIT  :rotfl: :rotfl: ) Can I join please? I've got my own pom-poms look -->
Joking apart, I would advise all you youngsters to not only tackle your weight problems but KEEP it under control, as I can vouch that it does get harder to deal with it later in life...
...I love stationery too :j :j can't walk past WHSmiths, Partners etc. I particularly :heart2:post-its, they are one of my life's necessities :rotfl: . I shall also take on board the suggestion of highlighting things in my food diary, thanks Bb for idea :T ...
...ajax How's MrsA today? I hope that you're still doling out the tlc. Have you bought Bailey's Christmas present yet? I went into a pet store the other day and there some brilliant presents for dogs :j . When I had dogs I used to buy AND wrap presents for them :rotfl: ...
...Hope you had a lovely weekend Suggs :j don't worry if the scales reflect it, you are maintaining remember:D ...
...Let's see what the Christmas picture is today, hey it's like our own little advent calendar

Morning peeps:D won't be going out today, knee hurts a lot so will get weighed tomorrow if poss, cleaning out the fridge instead oh the excitement:D :rotfl: have decided tomorrow to go to ASda and do one big shop to get it over with rather than having to keep going back again to the shops and looking at all the lovely stuff and it ending up in my basket:rotfl:
obviously the fresher stuff will have to wait that little bit longer ...
I have just opened my sons phone for xmas present ready to charge it, there is no battery in it:mad: good job I started to plan think about it now, back to the shop tomorrow to ask for a battery for the mobile:rolleyes:
I have a list of what to do for xmas present wise (make sure there are enough batteries/charge things/make sure we as parents understand how to work it so that we can tell the kids etc) so much time wasted on xmas day with all that so trying to prevent it beforehand and do it now and what happens? No battery!!
Good luck everyone on the weigh in:D
Well done brighton belle that 1/4 pound is very important I agree, it gives you positive hope to continue along the fantastic route you have been going down, good luck for the 4 lb , you know they will come off x0 -
Is it just me, or are we all getting a bit confused with who we're talking to? I do this all the time so I'm glad it's not just me!
Sorry you're not doing so well today Victory, hope you manage to get all your Christmas stuff sorted without too much more hassle.
Petrichor, I'm glad you feel able to have the coffee, I think it's okay to have the mince pie as well you know.
Was excited about my day last night but am tired today (from the journey on Sunday) so will just be kind to myself and see what I can achieve. Have a good day everyone xxThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

I am defo going back to basics this week, concentraing on the speed or superspeed foods and writing everything down.
Good luck to everyone!

Puts my moans in perspective.
Stayed the same this week, Im really not happy. This past month has been rubbish, but Im still sticking ridgidly to my diet. Im going to have a real go at doing my WW DVD this week and see if that helps.
My current weight loss rate is just too slow!
I am in exactly the same position with the slowed down rate of loss. I think it is just the body readjusting - perhaps your shape is changin whilst the weight stays similar?0 -
Petrichor, I'm glad you feel able to have the coffee, I think it's okay to have the mince pie as well you know...
I was thinking so too as I walked home from the shops and then I read Marions post and now I'm not so sure. Well done Marion for not letting it get you down and getting to grips with it :T these gains usually disappear as quickly as they appear when dealt with promptly...
...In a similar vein I was impressed with missyg's post about adjusting calories/exercise. To have taken the 4lb gain in your stride and sticking to your plan is excellent :T it also highlights the 'error' of weighing in midweek, if you hadn't, you wouldn't have seen the temporary gain. Anyway, well done, I agree with Bails it was a very good and helpful post :T Thank you...
...Bails I like what you say about not sacrificing your social life for the scales; it's very wise piece of advice :T ...
...I take it all in, but it's very hard to put some of it into practice. I shall keep trying...
...Beanielou :rotfl: What a lovely idea :rotfl: (I wish I'd have known;) ) Hope everything goes okay for you at the hospital, did you get ever you fall?

Had a great weekend Thanks, lots of walking and getting wet, it rained Friday night and Sunday afternoon.
Absolutely fantastic place to go, lots of thins to do and see, and the hotel, not a right angle in the room J very small, old worlde style above the shops, up 34 steps to the hotel then somehow there are 45 rooms up there. We had a balcony, view of the church and canal, just shame it rained. But the hotel was great, they couldn’t do enough to help. Weight wise I put on a few pound and now trying to reduce it as much as possible, thanks Petrichor for your thoughts
I am so sorry to hear about MrsA Ajax, I do hope all is going ok with regards the recuperation, I also hope she appreciates the fact you’re a top bloke too for all the cooking
MissyG, hope your doing ok, adjusting and readjusting is such a worry for me, and its going to be a rough week for me as the gym is closed today as its been double booked as a meeting room. Fingers crossed it will be reopened tomorrow and the refurb complete next week. Also can’t train Friday as out all day in meetings. According to the BMR calculator training or playing rugby 3-5 times a week, means I can eat 3423 calories a day just to maintian  (I so wish!)
Delly I am so sorry, hope all ok with you, it must have been such a shock.
I got back Sunday night and had a half day yesterday, spent the time preparing for m y appraisal which was completed and I am glad, nah relived nah surprised!! to say all things look good, my profile within the company is on the up, am meeting or exceeding expectations on the score grid, objective next year is to work towards been a senior consultant. J
Mrs Suggs is suffering with laryngitis at the moment, and she has an exam tonight for bookkeeping, trying to get her booked in the docs for first thing in the morning. We thought it was a sore throat to start with; possible cold after the weekend, but it seems to have taken hold right now. I did cook a beef casserole last night if that helps??
Right Back to work for me.
Back soon

I'm 21 too, I just like to call myself granny. (and I fib a lot)
Sorry to hear the sad news Delly. It does put things in perspective when an unexpected tragedy occurs. Of course we were sad to lose my FiL but he was very old, it isn't the same thing at all.
I sometimes think I only became a teacher in the first place so as to be able to indulghe my prediliction for stationery. And now I'm a head I can have ANYTHING out of the cupboard (or even from the consortium catalogue). It's great.
This week has not been good and I'm expecting at best a stay the same for tomorrow. A night out on Saturday (dog racing, with a meal) and lunch out on Sunday at a friends AND breakfast out on Saturday morning ...:( ... but I enjoyed them all.
So today I'm eating fruit, fruit and more fruit. Hope it works ... IYSWIM0
