It was asked above but overlooked -does anyone know the straightforward way to port their existing number to this Virgin deal through CPW without affecting the Quidco cashback (£60 according to some successful reports above and elsewhere).
Many thanks

Porting should not affect either Quidco or the CPW cashback.
Quidco is based on the original purchase and the porting can only be done after the sim is registered. The cash-back claims usually insist that if you port a number you enclose a copy of the first bill (showing the original phone number and account number) to enable them to tie everything together.
As long as you get the sim first and then port you should be ok - if you try and port at the time of sale then you may well have problems.Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
Just a quick clarification on this: I only need to send in a photocopy of the first page of the bill, right? They don't need to know who I've been calling, I hope (that's how all other cashbacks I've ever done have worked). Is this what other people have done?
I'm about to send off a copy of the first page of the fourth bill I received, and then just hope it works!0 -
All offers have now changed to 6 months half price.

this worked, posted first class last wednesday got the "claim received" text on monday (cashback staff working on a bank holiday... amazing. well, cashback staff working at all = amazing), and got the "cheque is on its way" text this morning. very efficient, for CPW. didn't even need to send recorded/special delivery.0
