just to warn people that I emailed CPW after taking out this deal.

They have clearly indicated to me that I should send them the the bill I receive in the fourth month after connection, which is actually the fifth bill I will receive.

It appears that they are up their old tricks again

Hi, i called up and have been told the same thing. Bought mine on the 9th of NOv..told that the bill i have to send in is the march bill which is actually my 5th bill. WHAT should i do? I told her to note it on account and to send me a letter. Should i just send in my march bill?

Full of inconsistency.. told the opposite thing in my previous contract.
  • If they don't confirm in writing bombard them with emails on a regular basis until you do. If they still don't and you end up suing (as many now have to with them including one of my "flock" in all probability) you will be able to show that their t&c are contradictory and that you made every possible attempt to clarify and confirm in writing what they told you (I ASSUME you made a note of the name, time and date!) over the phone. All basic groundrules having failed to establish WHICH bill BEFORE you took out the deal with what has become a VERY slippery company!

    Hi

I sent the 4th bill that I received. They texted me a few days ago to confirm that a cheque for the £90 will be with me in the next 30 days.

I also had the £60 from Quidco at the start of this month.

I hope they still have the same deal on when my six months is up. :j

    Have a look at:
    http://shop.carphonewarehouse.com/show_terms_and_conditions_archive.php?YEAR=2007&MONTH=10#Virgin_Mobile
    http://shop.carphonewarehouse.com/show_terms_and_conditions_archive_popup.php?WOS_ID=9161&YEAR=2007&MONTH=10

which states "4th airtime bill". This seems clear to me as being the 4th bill you receive from virgin and this is what I've just done, not expecting any problems but will let you know how it goes.

I got my cheque for £90 in the post this morning.

I'll try another six months when this contract ends if they still have it then.
