like any contract i am pretty sure it will continue after the 6 months unless you specifically ask for it to end, which is as simple as quick call to virgin.0

I had one of these about 6 months ago (e2save and they paid up without any problem), however CPW just emailed me to say I failed a credit check with virgin when I applied a couple of days ago. I got 3 contracts with the CPW but one is ending next month and the other the month after that. Ihave had a few contracts over the past years all paid on time. Cashback deals are not as good as the past 2 years so it seemed a brilliant way to see what comes along.
Not having any problems before and an excellent credit rating up to now is this the credit crunch or have Virgin and CPW realised they wont make money on this?. I got the please ring for other options and that other companies may give me a contract so it seems they can sell me something but this will cost more. I think I will ring up Virgin and ask as I've been with Telewest (now virgin media) for ages and never missed a direct debit over 15years.
Anyone else has this problem on this 6 month sim deal?:j0 -
This is very old stuff. cpw ALWAYS had limits on contracts in a given time frame. With Virgin you can only have ONE at a time over any period - even though Virgin may well allow more. Read the threads; you will also come across at least one person declined for having too many contracts when their last had long finished. If you still have a Virgin contract running with cpw you won't get another. If you converted to a Virgin PAYT at its end they may well think you still have a contract. NOTHING to do with your credit rating and calling Virgin is a waste of time. This is cpw efficiency and very well known.0

Can I port my number from Orange PAYG to this Virgin contract, and then port it out somewhere after 6 months ? How would I do that ? CPW website does not have Virgin in their "port number" table in FAQ.0

The CPW group allow 4 live contracts, I had 5 with them at one time. I only have 3 live now two finishing within the next month. The Virgin one was only converted to PAYG a few months back as the number was a good number to remember. So far, I have managed to get all Cashback. Mobilejunkie is usually on the ball, and for me it looks like PAYG as contracts are no longer as good or easy as they were and PAYG got some good bundles and deals if you are on the ball and know the network you are calling .. pick up a free sim for your friends!! (eg Stop the clock is one I use on vodaphone). But the £10/month virgin 300 mins one might be an option as a Virgin media customer.:j0

yes no problem porting to virgin , i have had 3 of these 6 month sim only deals porting numbers each time , two with e2save and one with cpw , no probs with any of them , as others have mentioned CPW is only one claim to get your cash back against two with e2save .0

Shall I call CPW before ordering this SIM in order to transfer my number from Orange PAYG or just order and then call Virgin directly to arrange transfer ? Thanks0
