Same, calling them now.
EDIT: This is normal apparently. The Blue Rewards will go in at the normal rate at the beginning of the month then be doubled later on in the month.0 -

I didn't fulfil any of the criteria, and my first DD didn't go out until 1 June, yet I still have got a reward payment.Did you really mean to put loose?
Lose: no longer possess, not to retain, unable to find
Loose: not firmly or tightly fixed in place0 -

had a welcome phone call today.
I insisted that the caller passed my security test too!! After I had passed the caller's security they did answer all my questions correctly. As I pointed out, they could say they were from Mars! how would I know??
They congratulated me for being scam aware. Sadly no extra spondoolies
This switch has been pretty incident free. I'm thinking of the many horrors of Yorks bank, and seriously worse Natwest. Hey, but free money.Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

As a new customer in May, arranged x2 dd last month plus £800 gone in, but swiftly cycled out. £3 fee taken from account, does anyone know when will £14 get credited? I see someone on here has been credited without fulfilling all criteria. Lucky them.0 -

It was a welcome call from Barclays. Asked how I was getting on with using the bank. She will refund the £3 taken this month. she said £7 will go in same sort of time that the £3 will be taken next month then the second £7 will go in mid month, as I have switched. She confirmed i had x2 dd and £800 per month going in.She clarified how to use blue rewards cashback. Ensure you are on Barclays Online banking page then access their retailers through there, much like Quidco. You have to click START SHOPPING to see all 150 retailers. I informed her that the user interface could be vastly improved and the trouble I had with sending money out as there was an error code of which I have been compensated for.0 -
Does anyone else read the terms for existing Barclays turning Blue Rewards off and on again would qualify for double rewards without a switch being needed, under part (c) as no switch is mentioned in that part?
I'm sure that's not the intention but in strict black and white terms, that's how it reads to me.0 -

I'm afraid not. See the top line: "Receive double rewards ... if you use the Current Account Switch Service".
Parts b) and c) just clarify that you don't have to be a new customer to qualify, regardless of whether your already have Blue Rewards or not. "...and turn your current account into your primary account" is reference to nominating your account as the recipient of the Account Switch.: )0 -

But (c) seems to be a standalone sentence as (a) and (b) read as one sentence starting with the top line with 'or' in between.0
