Like others appear to have experienced, I got an initial £7 reward at the beginning of June (following opening, switching, £800 in and 2 DD's in May, but first fee taken beginning of June), but no sign of the double reward payment yet. It seems a bit vague as to when it should be expected (i.e. 'later in' and 'mid' month), so wondering if anyone else has had it paid before calling them

I was just about to ask the same question.

I had £7 credited to my Rewards Account, and £3 debited from my Current Account. Both occurred on about the 3rd of the month.

I, too, got the courtesy call and I asked about the additional £7. I was told I'd get it later in the month.

Well, I guess it's still only the 20th.

Anyone else been sent a chequebook? I asked for one and she said she'd order one, but no sign.

I contacted Barclays via facebook today and got the response that they thought that it might be at the end of June due to the promotion ending on the 29th.

Mine still has not been doubled and there are only 2 working days left in June now. I did think though that as the June credit was for the May reward and the switch date was in May after I had met the conditions for the May reward, that maybe it won't start being doubled until the June reward i.e. in July.


Not sure if the t&c were clear on this, but I will probably wait to see what happens in July before raising it with Barclays

I'm sure they'll clarify once they're inundated with complaints.

Although, to be honest, I wasn't expecting anything in the first month at all.

it states on the website need to transfer via CASS by 29/6/18 to get the double rewards,
well that's in 2 days, no way switch will happen in 2 days. plus i need to create 2 DD's

so does that mean if i apply toady will only receive £7 per month and not £14?

The requirement is that the switch must START on or before 29th.

If you apply online and it opens an account straight away, you still need to visit a branch with ID to start the switch (you can select a switch start date within 5 working days of the application date).

I'm wondering the same thing! Plus, I don't know if you must bring with you two direct debits? Or can you add them after you make the switch?

I've read their website, it's unclear.
