Hi auburnette,
I received three emails:- We've received your 3 order (details as you describe)
- Your 3 order has been processed (received a minute later)
- Your 3 mobile is on its way (received day before the dongle arrived)
Hope your reception is good as its an excellent deal but if it doesn't work as you expect don't wait too long before returning it and don't use it for more than 2 days if it isn't performing OK as you could well loose your right to return it.
My experiences are on the following page

Silly question but if you have spam checking have you checked your spam to see if there is anything there?

that's really helpful, bstock, thanks so much!
I emailed Three and they called me back. They apologised and said they were having technical issues which meant that my order was still pending, so I haven't got the 'processed' email yet.
Is this happening to anyone else? Someone else I know also ordered it, but not sure what stage his order is at.
I am wondering about getting a PAYG version now, though. If it turns out to be slow then I probably won't use it that much, but it would be useful to have backup internet.0 -
3 hours a day is nowhere near enough for me, my laptop is on all the time. im considering a dongle and getting rid of my phone line which i only have in for broadband so is there another dongle that can be used as and when?0

Just signed up for the 5gb dongle not that i think i will ever use that amount 1gb was probably enough but then i weighed up the pros and cons the 1gb with quidco cash back worked out almost £4.92 a month and the 5gb with quidco cashback worked out only £6.30 not much in it really and better to be safe than sorry lol

I have the payg 3 mobile broadband on my laptop and i,m happy with it.
play .com are selling them cheaper than the 3 shop..0 -
the ting to remember is that it works on the mobile phone singnal so the stronger the faster speed . I'm on pay go and its been varied , but not bad I would say to anyone if possible check the expected usage area with a 3 mobile .0

Btw if you have anything left over in the way of bandwidth you cannot carry it over to next month so
you loose what you've bought. i,m on about PAYG and i will loose 2 Gigs after it expires tonight..0 -
Anyone successfully getting the 1Gb month Broadband Lite deal without a huge admin charge?
I followed the quidco link to threestore to sign up, then at checkout Three added a £195 "one-off administration charge" to the basket!! Why on earth is that?
Update: Aha, I've worked this one out. It's a £1.95 admin charge, but the font that Three are using makes the dot totally invisible in my browser. That makes much more sense.0 -
My son has had no problems at all, uses it via a mac.
I would consider Quidcos £15 deal for 15gb usage, 5gb is not really enough for my son and his girlfriend.
I'm thinking of asking if I can upgrade his to 15gb for £15 if possible. Anyone think this is possible??

Just an update. I rang 3 CS today (UK call centre) and was told I could NOT change to the £15 per month 15gb deal, I would have to take out a new contract.
I then rang another number 0800 3586795 (Asian call centre) and asked the same question and was told "NO PROBLEM". I will be upgraded to 15gb for £15 from 6th Oct., so it IS possible.
I was also informed they will be charging £1 per month for itemised billing from 24th Oct. You can opt for non-itemised or paperless billing at no charge.
