New neighbour noise

I don't see a fixation with benefits. I see a woman who has to listen to a kid howl 24/7 that never gets taken out of the house to play or learn. If the boyfriend is not working, what is wrong with him getting off his backside and giving his girlfriend a break by taking the kid out so his g/f gets a rest and the kid finds out there is more in life than the 4 walls in her house.
Why should the OP have to wear earphones in her own house?
I think we have gone through this, but it appears he could be the carer for a very ill lady
and whilst we are jumping to conclusions, the OP, ,whilst being obviously obsessed with these pple has not mentioned any visitors so seemingly they are not inundated with offers of help from friends, family and deffo not from neighbours...they are dealing with an awful situation. Bloody awful. and the OPs biggest problem is having to go to bed cos the noise is so bad, which I dont think she realises how completely pathetic that sounds,,going to sleep to drown out noise.
This is not a regular noisy neighbour issue and pple need to stop responding as if it isThe opposite of what you know...is also true0 -
attack?
in what way, she's just trying to paint a picture of the neighbours so people might be able to offer some constructive advice.
Some people on here are very judgmental. I think the only "decent" advice offered by anyone is the earphones, though why she should have to wear them in her own house when it's someone else's kid making the racket and causing the noise I don't know.
Because, sometimes extenuating circumstances happen. Stuff that most people won't ever have to deal with
Attack, because every single thing they do or dont do, is negatively judged (by the op) its unneccesary and unfounded
So what if they dont want to get friendly with her, I doubt I would want to get to know the OP,either, as she sounds like a charm wanting to stick the boot in on someone she clearly knows is going through one of the worst times of their lives...

i don't think the OP is obsessed at all. Nor do I think she sounds pathetic.
And like you say, it only APPEARS he's a carer for a very ill lady. So IF he is, you'd think he'd take the kid out and give her a break wouldn't you? But seeing as we are jumping to conclusions, maybe he doesn't think he should have to because it's not his kid?
If the OP had said he was out all day at a £80k job everyone would be saying she was jealous of them, so no matter what she says she's wrong. And she's still got a kid that screams 24/7 to listen to......0 -

judgmental to a "person" someone is on an internet forum is talking about?
Im sure he'll be mortified when he finds out I am being judgmental about him :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

So IF he is, you'd think he'd take the kid out and give her a break wouldn't you? ......
Great so he takes the "kid" out to give her a break & the "kid" comes back with a cold gives it to her mother & whoops she's dead. Well I guess that would give her a break - just a bit too permanent for my liking.0 -
I think it is quite worrying that they have a child they NEVER take out, even on weekends and evenings. Yes the mother is ill but never letting the child see the light of day is just odd and not very good for them, they should be in play school or nursery mixing with kids their own age, not stuck at home screaming and yelling 24/70

We have the OP saying that the child is never taken out - but does the OP never go out? Is she there, 24/7 observing the family? It is all surmise.
I find it sad - the whole sorry saga - one person who sees things only from her perspective and a family who are having to cope with goodness only knows what.0
