Hi March Money Magicians,
Hello, that's more snow falling. :snow_laug
<<<<<Better keep my hat on.
A blessed day off.
Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Three:
* Good, homemade, sustaining breakfast.
* Work very hard on my own mental health issues. Do Holistrio App.
* Check online banking and broadband usage.
* Turned off alarm clock until tonight, it resets itself automatically.
* Sitting with the blinds and curtains shut wrapped in two blankets.
* Decide on something to cook for Sunday lunch. I know you wonderful folk meal plan in advance. I struggle with this. I guess the main thing is I'm not buying in takeaways and dining out all the time like I used to. DW keeps the freezer stocked with a range of foods. Going for a chicken-toad-in-the-hole.
* One of six wee bulbs in the bathroom has blown. Not replacing it.
* Batch cook potato croquettes and quiche frittata.
To live without risk is to risk not living.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -

You had me at chicken toad in the hole! What is this loveliness you speak of? Is it just chicken cut up and cooked with the batter in the usual way or do you keep them as whole chicken breasts?0 -
Morning folks
Quick boring post as I'm at work. Feel quite sad that the crochet blog post that's had the most attention is the one where I was knitting :rotfl:
Boring day today:- B/L/D from stores - done
- Cook fish pie that I didn't get to yesterday - done
- Nip to B and M at lunch to pick up bits that are cheaper than Asda - done
- Not go out after work - OH treated me but I just had soft drinks
- Charge phone in work - done
- Reconcile budget sheet with OH - done
- OH to send invoices - done
- No alcohol - done
- Early night. I'm shattered already. - done

Morning
yippee days off day 4 of 8
Have given the kitchen a very thorough clean, including final clean of the dishwasher - am very impressed with the result for a little research & elbow grease (EG). Only purchase I made was 1 wash for £1.75 and other than that I've used EG and products from home
I've also done research for going forward and it looks like a monthly cap of vinegar and a a few slices of lemon keeps it nice and clean :T
Today:
* guest for roast - everything from stores - using a lot of veg from the freezer
guests bringing potatoes (we'd nearly run out) and yorkshire puds
* sweep kitchen floor after prepping veg
sweep lounge & hall as well
* getting games out to play with guests
* hang up washing
* get madam's bag and clothes ready for tomorrow
* rubber chicken duties - wanting to make a chicken & rice bake with one for the freezer with los
* knitting
* vacuum our bedroom & stairs
* decide if I want to bid on a couple of handbags on fleabay. I need a bag but don't want to pay the prices on fb. Might pass and nip to the CS' tomorrow after getting my hair done
* show a wardrobe & mirrors on facebay to oh to see if he likes them
* checking out free online resource from school
Ok that'll doDF as at 30/12/16

Yup.
Instead of sausages but chicken breast into long sausage-like strips. Add rosemary. Cook as your would regular toad-in-the-hole. Serve with chicken gravy.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -
* Batch cook potato croquettes and quiche frittata.
Success! :T
Used up two out of date sachets of instant mashed potato. One is 4 weeks out of date, the other dated 2016.
Quiche frittata looking lovely.
Really tired now. The croquettes are quite labour intensive. Played croquette roulette: some have wee pieces of pastrami in them, others haven't. This is because, on some of them, I forgot to put it in! :rotfl:

Pf I always think the food you are making sounds fab!
I've already posted about brunch/cinema trip which is going to take up most of the day so the rest of my list is as follows
Ys crumpets and more of the use up Weetabix for breakfast
Showered and continued using up holiday toiletries and left hair to dry naturally
Whilst out pick up some bread for tomorrows packed lunches
Tonight meal from stores is going to be gammon with jacket spuds, carrots, 1/2 cauli left from last weekend and peas.
Not mse but need to remember to do my headspace app
Not much going on in the way of "small things" hopefully I'll have more to add later.
Have a good day and stay safe and warm all.
Thanks 1LL productive day in the kitchen:
Fruit pavlova (using some frozen fruit we had) (for tea)
Chocolate popcorn
Cheese scones
Chicken curry
Spag Bol (tonight tea)
Quiche
Black beans - cooked
Chickpeas soaked for tomorrow
Green lentil - cooked
Used up the knuckle of Parmasan in the bolegnase
Used all the double cream that's going out tomorrow
Have lots of meals for this week
Was going to use some salsa that we were gifted in the bolegnase but I tried it first and it has. A bit of spice, so I'll put it in with a few types of beans for a chilli bean stew
Managed a swim at the gym and used sauna and steam room, very relaxing - one of the best things for my MH. Nice walk there and back too now the weather is a bit warmer.
Vacuumed downstairs and landing upstairs. Left our room as cat was sleeping and I'm soft :rotfl:
Just going to finish tea and then relax for a bit this evening.0 -
