    Hi March Money Magicians,

    Hello, from Antarctica. :snow_laug

I have to go into work today: it's gonna be a long one (tying up all the loose ends after the Snow-mageddon closure).

    Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Three:

    * Good, homemade, sustaining breakfast.

    * Work very hard on my own mental health issues. Do Holistrio App.

    * Check online banking and broadband usage.

    * Turned off alarm clock until tonight, it resets itself automatically.

    * Take a packed lunch.

To live without risk is to risk not living.

Ouch Ally look after ur self, sounds painful:(

daydreamsofaunicorn :hello: keep posting regularly if u can it really does help. Helps keep me on the straight and narrow.
I also keep bullet journals for birthday presents, Christmas presents (I have a lot to buy for) and spends for the month so I can keep total track of my spends. Gives me a certain satisfaction to look at them to see the monies saved and a slap on the wrist if my eating out treat budget has been blown:rotfl::rotfl:
Still messaging from my phone hopefully not too much longer.
Beef casserole again tonight, rest will be portioned up for the freezer. Will have produced 6 meals really pleased.
Have to quickly pop out this morning, some snow on the grass, more cold than anything.
    Radiator shuffle

    Get stuck into more housework
    That's about it from me
    Stay safe everyone x

I would keep an eye on Facebook marketplace - I see loads of wardrobes, especially kiddies ones. If you click on a few, it also then shows you even more wardrobes.

    Morning folks

    Welcome to daydreamsofaunicorn

Foxgloves - I hope that the lergy is finally lifitng?

HK - what a run of bad luck! I hope that's the last of it!

Went to the gym for the Open last night - managed my first un-scaled (Rx) workout! I was 1 burpee short of finishing in the time cap though booo.
Got on the scales this morning though and I'm a tad heavy... that would def slow down my burpees. Need to get on the straight and narrow methinks!

Weather here is above freezing so I'm going to try and keep the heating off til later this afternoon/evening.

Also, a friend saw my Facebook post about knitting and has gifted me a whole shed load of different types and sizes of needles - including small sock needles! So no spends required! (my original plan was to do the rounds of the charity shops)

    Today's mission:
    • B/L/D from stores
    • Be healthy
    • Make leek and potato soup - done
    • Add potato peelings to compost heap - done
    • Make bread - done
    • Get OH to pick up the shopping via click and collect (which is free!) - done
    • OH to submit invoice
    • Wash towels - chance them out on the line - done
    • Prep other food ahead once shopping arrives - done
    • Possibly crochet. I have a lonely baby bootie that needs a partner. I'm not sure how I felt about the patten but I was making it when I was still full of flu.
    • Sit and plan out a list of snacks. Poss with OH's help as it's mainly for him
    • No alcohol - I went a bit mad on the booze after I got better from my flu as I couldn't get to the gym and there wasn't as much incentive to be good. I'm back to fighting fit now though so def needs to be kept on top of!
    • OH gigging again.
    • Charge batteries in little radio - done
Right, well I enjoyed that cup of coffee so much, I'm going to make another one. Sluuuurp.

    Have a good one folks

CLF I was so miserable last week everything going that could go wrong has gone wrong.
Just about managing with phone at the minute, can't wait until my tablet comes back,it's hard trying to do work on the phone with my headphones on for the radio aswell!!

1ll funnily enough I ended up having a second helping of beef casserole last night. Have it again tonight.
DD still snowed in she's starting to get cabin fever. We have blue skies here, heating off and windows are open. Have some washing drying get on the line.
Right off to chase up a dress that I sent back to debenh@Ms that seems to have gone missing

  • Hi guys :D I wrote a post earlier and lost it and got so annoyed I gave up!

ally hope you're ok & todya's shift goes quickly!
1LL hope your bug doesn't develop! Are you sure you can't rustle up a couple of packed lunches from stores????
    Hi & welcome daydreamsofaunicorn :D

I've been fairly productive today - but am feeling it is coming to an end pretty quickly and I will be moving on to relaxation!

    * made breakfast (omlette) muffins for the freezer. Have another batch to make but my muffin tray has given up all pretense of being non-stick so want to get another one. Will wait until I am passing that way ;)
    * have done a load of washing & another in the machine
    * a plumber came round to check my boiler - it's fine just the gauge that isn't working. He gave me a tutorial in how to re-pressurise it. cost to me = nada :D
    * sorted out the airing cupboard due to above and have some things to throw out and some to iron and put on freebay ;)
    * lunch was the batch of potato & leek soup I made 2 days ago - another portion for tomorrow (and one in the freezer for work next week ;) )
    * madam had cheese on toast and a ys yogurt - she's hungry today! had pancakes and then 2 bowls of rice crispies for breakfast!
    * oh took madam to the park for my sledging - used a tray rather than buying a sledge ;)
    * messaged a few friends to see if they want to get involved in a freezer club (details here if anyone is interested! https://thrivinghomeblog.com/2014/02/how-to-start-a-freezer-club/)
    * going to make weatabix brownies and flapjacks later with madam - free entertain and fills the freezer for when I'm working ;)
    * about to purchase a photo mug for dd for Mother's day
    * going to go and knit for a bit and listen to audio book :D
