    Afternoon all :)
Ally, hope you are ok after your fall :(
Well, the snow is going, good riddance, let's get on with spring now!!
Not done much so far today, because DD came round with both kids
Baby was grizzly, which reminds me CLF, what is a burpee? :rotfl:
House is a tip, but as it is all slushy and yucky outside it is a waste of time cleaning too much until it goes,or at least it was with a 4 year old running in and out!

    Sole achievements so far:
Washed up all the dishes by hand instead of using the DW
Made soup for lunch for everyone
    Listed an item on ebay

I also helped do 4 jigsaw puzzles
    Read 3 stories
Found some stickers to decorate the envelope containing a get well card for GD's mum's friend's cat :rotfl:
    Helped plant cress seeds
Held grizzly baby while his mum and big sister built a small snowman on a tray in the back garden :rotfl:

And I don't intend to do much else, apart from something for dinner, which will probably end up being jacket potatoes and salad, as I cba to make the planned chicken curry :o Tomorrow is another day though, and the chicken is fine in the fridge.

Must check banks and update spreadsheet

Laziness, all of it, but at least I haven't spent anything :T

You have to squat down, put your hands on the floor, kick your legs back into a plank position, do a press-up, then jump your legs back into a squat, then jump up.

    They are meeeeeaaaaaannnnnn

    Hi Saturday Savers,
CLF - the lergy has mostly gone, thanks. Am a bit headachey today but think that's just lingering gunge (nice!)
*NSD - mr f needed car for work & I have shopped from home like a good'un.
*Did laundry overnight on cheap tariff. All on heated airer.
*Made a meal to take to Mum's tomorrow as eating out does get expensive.
*Made scones to take as gift.
*Wrapped Mothering Sunday gifts to take tomorrow or I will have to post them. Used paper/tag/giftbag from my recycled stash.
*Baked cake for additional gift. Will freeze tomorrow so Mum can enjoy it next weekend.
*Meat in slow cooker for pulled pork. Need to finish the sauce in a minute. Mr f is making some of his lovely jacket wedges to go with it.
*Kept downstairs heating to a minimum today as was busy & oven was on. It must be slightly warmer as our snow is thawing well & Cat has been outside FOUR times today!!
    Enjoy your evenings, all.

  • I would keep an eye on Facebook marketplace - I see loads of wardrobes, especially kiddies ones. If you click on a few, it also then shows you even more wardrobes.

< Scales mountains sure-footedly...slips in shower in safety of own home! :( Black and blue, including the ankle I injured last year.

Prior to this I managed to batch cook:

    Chicken soup
    Pancakes

Oh no! Hope you feel better soon.

Evening all! Happy Saturday - half the weekend gone already

Proposed trip to town for clothing for husband has been postponed as husband thinks he is starting with the lurgy. Cue much moping round the house, heavy sighing and the occasional moan. My bank balance is extremely greatful for the reprieve but nothing has been done here today (usually Saturday is his household chore/washing day)

Spendy day as did my food shop - but came in a whole £1 under budget :T

:A used 60p Asda womble voucher on shop
:A £1.60 saved from shopping budget and womble put onto christmas savings card.
:A caught a brand new bag for life that was blowing down the path outside Asda
:A got free crackers via cashback app - will do for baby snacks
:A used up some jellies from back of cupboard for smalls dessert.
:A cashed out £7.20 from surveys
:A heating on for 1hr morning and night to take chill off
:A bought a load of frozen desserts that were on clearance so got enough to last a few weeks (only eat dessert on a Saturday evening)
    :A B, L from stores.
:A no evening meal as DH felt too ill to cook and I couldnt be bothered just for me, so its gone in freezer for next week
:A listed some more stuff on selling site
:A looked up recipes to use up filo pastry i found in freezer from xmas.
:A looked on price comparison to try to get better price on car insurance renewal
:A numerous surveys and prize draws

Think thats about it. Will be spending most of tomorrow at my other house doing yet more DIY to get ready to sell. Really could do without it but it has to be done. Storm has taken down half of the fence too so thats another job (and expense) to add to the list

You could look on Freecycle or Freegle too.

Many towns also have Facebook Buy and Sell pages too. Try searching on "Your-towns-name Buy and Sell".

    Morning all :)
Up at 6 this morning for some reason. I was just awake! Will try to accomplish more than I managed yesterday :o
    * Toast for breakfast with the last scrapings from a jar of marmalade that has been hanging around for ages. Marmalade is OH's thing, not mine, but as he seems to be allergic to finishing off the last of any container, it has just sat there:( Anyway, gone now and the jar is in the sink waiting to be washed up!
    * I have 4 ebay parcels to pack ready for posting tomorrow :)
    * Ought to list a few more items
    * Water plants in mini greenhouse now I can get to it - most of the snow has now gone, just left with those dirty looking piles here and there.
    * Need to do some housework
    * Leftovers for lunch
    * I WILL make that chicken curry tonight for dinner!
    * No plans to spend anything

Boring sort of day, but lots to catch up on ready to start the new week!

    Morning all :hello:

Hope bruised fellows are on the mend and the lergy has left the others. It's raining here :j we didn't have too much snow anyway, but hopefully that'll wash away what's left. I've turned the heating down this morning :D

Other things this weekend (as didn't get chance to post yesterday):
Made South African chicken, using hm mango chutney, leftovers for DH lunch tomorrow
Used last bit of kale from veg box over a week ago and added a bit of broccoli to make creamy kale to go with it
Cream going OOD tomorrow so will make quiche and pavlova later to use it up
    Make some cheese scones
Batch cook a couple of meals to make it easier later in the week - chicken curry and an other, possible bean related
    DDs to prepaid swimming lessons
Get ready for week ahead, packed lunches etc
Tidy round so House is also ready for the week
    Use gym twice, showered there
    Watch free box set later
Planning a small shop but may make it up with cat food (which we'll need next week) as have a £7 off voucher
Used up a couple of ys kiwi I bought about 3 weeks ago that were ripen at home that have only just ripened ;)

    Have a good day folks.
