That kind of 'mum' guilt - even if it is towards a dog - is immense. Hope your dog recovers quickly.

Well done on clearing the CC. Trip to Morocco sounds fun.

Hope your pension chat goes well.

I was going to suggest the pensions board too.  There are some really knowledgeable people there and hopefully there's no judgement just info and signposting.  Also Pensionwise gave us some helpful info - it's a Gov service so they can give you impartial info.  It's better to know what's what than worry about the unknown.

    Thanks all.
Decided to move one into his current one. Just waiting for the paperwork to come through. OH has got a cold (obviously man flu!). So he didn’t do very much yesterday. He’s off today as well.
I made some pesto but was a bit heavy handed with the salt, any suggestions welcome.
Managed to get a load of washing dried outside but it did mean everything had 10 pegs on it as it was a bit windy. I decided against putting the bedding out.
OH ordered some more resin as the first lot went wrong.
Dog is a lot better. I’m hoping when DD1 comes up she’ll help me give them a bath.

Not sure if I mentioned that the b&b owners have sold the business, hoping it completes by November. Yesterday we all had a meeting with the potential new owners. They said they aren’t planning on changing anything. Time will tell on that one. Business idea scuppered again, so I’ll park that for now.
DS2 isn’t having an easy time. Arrived in Oz to find the boat had broken down so the job is on hold. However they’ve agreed to fly him to NZ so he can see his friends and he’s close enough to fly back if the job starts.
The weather is awful today, wetter than an otters pocket and windy. I was supposed to be meeting a friend to go on a walk but really don’t fancy it
Ive finished crocheting the squares for the next blanket, just need to join it altogether.

I miscalculated the crochet squares and need another 4. I’ll hopefully get them done today. Going out for a meal tonight to celebrate our wedding anniversary, which was yesterday.
Today is my full day off as I’m covering a shift tomorrow night.
Weather is still not playing ball and looking at the forecast the weather gods have got their fingers in their ears!

So I tried to interact with the weather gods and put my painting clothes on. I’m crocheting.

Also having a mull about my flower bed. I’m contemplating getting some of the weed suppression membrane and putting that down. I can cover the top with pebbles, I think it would look ok. Just been pricing it up and it isn’t too horrific. I’m trying to think long term and I’m not keen on weeding.
