Beautiful photos.
i know it's not funny but the vision of a dog with a tummy covered in sudocream slithering under the bed did make me smile. Sorry!2 -
I think my sudden rush of blood to do housework has come to an end. Yesterday, hoovered, washed bedding and remade, cleaned windows and polished bedroom furniture. I even put a deep cleaner thingy through the washer! OH did the bathrooms and mopped. Collected the Morrisons order and collapsed.Another dreich day today and it looks like there’s worse to come.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Our local rugby club have historically treated our (really successful) ladies team very differently to the way they treat the Men's 1st XV, although all the men's lower level teams have also fallen foul of this - it's disgraceful when everyone at senior level pays the same club fees isn't it! Thankfully after a lot of protests from the lower level senior players, it seems that someone is now involved in the day to day running of the place that actually wants to genuinely uphold the "One Club" ethos - although we'll see!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

So DS2 is still in NZ. Woke up to exciting news that his land purchase here on Skye has finally completed. It’s been a long haul since his offer was accepted in April! For once he’s been proactive and chased the architect for drawings. Exciting times ahead! Also probably a bit stressful. OH has decided he’s going to be project manager when DS2 isn’t onsite.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Hellooooo anybody there? I’ll keep waffling to myself. Crikey, it’s been windy. Driving home from my shift on Friday night was a bit hairy! Had to stop the car at one point as I couldn’t see where the road went. It was like driving through a snow blizzard, except it was driving rain and lots of it. I decided not to close the gate as I couldn’t open the car door due to the wind. Once I parked the car, it was being rocked by the wind.I did something very frivolous yesterday and had my nails done. It feels reckless as I only usually do this before I go on holiday or a special occasion. Not got much planned for today. It the wind does ease a bit more I’ll attempt to walk the bin back.Had the dog at the vets the other day for her pet check. It really annoys me that she’s got to have this before she can have her meds. Literally 2 minutes a quick pat and that’s £30! Anyway as we only had the one pooch with us she got to come to the cafe. As it happens there was a very enthusiastic lady working there who is potentially going to be doing dog grooming. I put my name down. Fingers crossed that comes off. Also called into the builders merchant to see if the roofing sheets had come in. Turns out they had and were being delivered that day. So paid for those. They had to be weighted down otherwise they’d be blown away to the outer isles!
OH has decided he’s coming down with me at the end of November, which is great. We will possibly look at buying some roller shutter doors to replace the garage ones that are rusty and likely to decapitate you.L

Await your progress on bin walking. I've been away for the weekend and hadn't realised that the storm would affect home - slight trepidation at the bin being out for bin day and pleased it was still there on return.
You never seem to slow down!2 -

Bin walked and returned to base. Counting down to DD1 coming on Friday night. 4 sleeps!! DS1GF had scan and baby is 11 weeks and only 1. There’s twins in her family. Not long until my nephew meets his DD his wife is due any day. I’ve finished their blanket but waiting her safe arrival before I post it to them.I was very lazy yesterday and apart from getting the bin and trying to drag the dinghy back to where it should be (I couldn’t it was too heavy) I read my book. Sad news re Jilly Cooper, loved her books.Cooking a paella dish for tea tonight in the slow cooker.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

I bet that was a bit of a relief for DS1 & GF that there was only one little bean lurking in there allowing for the possibility of twins!
Glad you survived unscathed from all the wind at the weekend - it really did look quite scary up there!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I think DS1 would’ve been secretly pleased not so sure about GF, lol!DS2, sigh. Poor chap though he is partially to blame for not getting his arris in gear. He’s finally hired a car for 3 weeks and booked a ticket to go and see Teddy Swims……..work phoned and he’s on a 9 o’clock flight to Amsterdam Wednesday (which it already is there)
Finally the wind has dropped. Just had the fluffies out and it’s still very mild. Hoping it’s not going to be too windy tomorrow as OH is off and wanting to get the roof on the shed. 3 sleeps DD1 arrives!
