Remembered to get my jab. Work has been ok, steady and a bit busier than last Friday. We did get a visit from 2 chaps dressed in inflatable dinosaur costumes. Apparently they’re TikTok people and have filmed themselves at Skye’s hotspots in their costumes. It helps to be bonkers to work there!
DS2 phoned he’s not got a crew change when he thought so he’s not coming up. Next time he’s onshore will be 16 December. It’s a shame as OH had booked some leave which can’t be changed. He did need to use it up before the end of the year.I think today, I’m going to wash the bedroom carpet, make some scones and a chowder for tea.Last night I had a pamper session when I finished work. Put one of those face sheet mask thingies on, deforested my legs, hair mask and then body lotioned. I’ve started drinking camomile tea before bed again, it does seem to be helping.Need to go back to Inverness and booked the same hotel with a discount so got the room only for £69, Billy bob bargain.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

One debt remaining. Home improvement loan.2 -
Just catching up. £5k seems insane for the garage doors. No idea if it actually is.
And remind DH to pack his swimming trunks this time!2 -
Currently trying another supplier. Swimming trunks located and put into the bag. OH has been busy put a bar on the new shed, fitted the digger in the garage where it can be serviced.Have a new not good problem on the horizon which is going to be a head scratcher. Have made an initial approach to the council. Will hopefully hear in 7 days what the process is.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

We had a new up and over garage door last year. Old door removed, new door fitted and an extra lock - just under £900
congrats on the news that you'll be having a new granddaughter in due course.2 -

Ouch to the door cost - is some of this "Island tax" if you have to get people across from the mainland? Mind you, allowing for your shiny bridge there is little excuse for it to be that much extra!

Part of the issue is they’re coming from Inverness which is a 6 hour round trip before you start work.Evening shift got cancelled, which I was ok with as it’s that time of year but could also do with the pennies as it’s coming up to that time of year!
Im in today but later as I’m the cook and not the second.Ordered and paid for the dogs tablets, neighbour will collect them tomorrow. Getting my nails done on Saturday, ridiculously excited about this. 1 nail has succumbed to being naked and the others are intact.OH will be off for 4 days from Friday night. Not sure what he’ll be doing as DS2 was supposed to be coming but that’s changed. He needed to use his leave up anyway.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013
