Well done doing the solicitor call and the letter being sent. Would be preferable to not have to, but NN doesn't get to throw his weight around and expect no comeback. ******* **** (just self editing again 😁)3

I do like mucking out, weirdo that I am! I’m another year older today. Not got anything planned, hoping nice neighbour is feeling well enough to go for coffee and cake somewhere. Tomorrow night we’re out for a meal with another couple. I’m also getting my hair and nails done. Can’t wait to get my nails done, they’re getting too long and are annoying me, I can’t type properly as my fingers are being dyslexic!
OH and I had a falling out on Monday sort of over it but not over it IYKWIM. This time next week we’ll be on the road heading south. I’ve got 4 days to work 3 next week and then just the Monday the week after, which will be at head office (deep joy)
DS2 should be home on the 16th, he’s had 10 weeks off shore!
Gary golf is at the doctors today, he’s a bit chesty and needs his tubes looking at aka new exhaust.Had a phone call from the solicitors, they’re sending the letter. I thought they’d sent it 2 weeks ago. Really wanted this sorted before next year.I did brush the girls at the weekend. If the weather plays ball I’ll try and do them again. It’s been a bit windy!

Belated happy birthday L - sorry I missed it at the time!
I always quite enjoyed mucking out too - there is something very restful about it, somehow!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Beautiful drive back home last week and weather has been stunning until yesterday. I can’t put my finger on it but I have the feeling of impending doom lingering at the edge of my mind. Possibly to do with the solicitor shenanigans that are still on going despite NN having no proof or evidence whatsoever.Money is squeaky this month which isn’t helping. Had a large cc bill to clear which has been done but wiped us out. I’ve got a savings plan maturing soon it was supposed to go towards the solar panels we’re hoping to put on this year but will now probably go on solicitors costs.OH has done the back brakes on Gary Golf but the fronts still need doing. Need a break in the weather to do that. He’s out of MOT but booked in for 12th January so need to do brakes by then. We’ve lent our pickup to some neighbours. They were worried the clutch was going on their vehicle and they had to get to the airport. One of their chaps is very autistic so the thought of them having car problems made it an easy decision for us. Just asked them to insure it. They’ve never driven an automatic so gave them a quick lesson. Just hope they don’t smoke in it but if they do there’s febreeze.Booked the cottage we stayed in for Christmas ‘26.Tomorrow the girls are getting bathed. I’ve found the old living room curtains to use as towels and when I get up I’ll switch the heat lamp on in the outdoor kennel so it should be warm enough for them to dry off.
