Rant away, that's what our diaries are for 😁

Well that's one less worry if literally everyone including probably the council thinks he's an eejit. Just keep documenting and noting anything. And if you needed motivation to see if your pod plans are viable, beating him is an excellent motivator 💅

Colleague does sound annoying but just mute the messages and as you say have a wee chat with the new owners. Literally not your problem in any way shape or form!

Oh flipping heck NN  is NOT what you need right now (or ever) is he. What a PITA. Agree about deer fencing looking awful when not needed too - why on earth anyone would want to put it up unless they really have to goodness knows!

As for the colleague, absolutely right not to let them ride roughshod over you - the cheek!

That’s my final shift of the season done and dusted until next year. Had the Christmas party last night which gave us all chance to say a proper goodbye to the old owners.
Not a tremendous amount happening, our solicitor has acknowledged the letter we received with NNs solicitors.
It has potential to be a nice day, so I will get out and give the mutts a brush and then take them for a walk.

That's nice you had a Christmas get-together and were able to say a proper goodbye in a good way.

NN is such a (I'll just edit myself here) complete ********
You will come out if this with better legal knowledge and probably minus a nasty neighbour

How's your plan for pods feeling?

Hope you and the mutts had a lovely walk

Had a lovely walk with the pooches, failed miserably on the mutt brushing.
Pods I keep going hot and cold about so probably best to leave it, especially with what’s potentially going to happen on the land next door.
Had to hoover the outdoor dog kennel as they somehow managed to smash the bulb in the heat lamp. Luckily they didn’t cut themselves.

Well I'm sure the walk did some of the grooming work.

How does what might occur next door affect your plans?

Eek, I'm glad they didn't cut themselves! Can you figure out what happened?

The NN is hoping to apply for planning to put pods on. I’m not sure my heart is in it. DS2 wants me to do his house when it’s built, that’s ages away though.
Not sure if the dogs broke the bulb while playing or if the wind caught it and smashed it. We’re going to look into changing the opening to a doggy flap. When they go to nice neighbours she has one for her dogs, so they know how to use it. It does make me chuckle as her dogs are dachshunds so the flap isn’t that big so seeing my girls squashing themselves in and out makes me smile.
Nice neighbour isn’t very well at the moment. An ambulance was summoned on Saturday, she asked me to go up to sort said dachshunds out before the ambulance arrived. She wasn’t kept in overnight. Her daughter was off yesterday, I’ll pop in later today and possibly muck out the ponies while I’m there.
Normal 3 days to work this week as no b&b shifts. Housework day and bedding will be going in the wash. Was a slovenly woman last week and didn’t do it!

The good thing about not working at the b&b is that we can go to badders tonight. Yesterday was a bit of a none starter as the electric went off at 10.30 and didn’t come back on till 6.30. So I owe work a few hours, which I’ll do today.
Still popping up to neighbours to muck out ponies, OH helped yesterday as he was off.
Need to pay cc, so finances need to have a beady eye cast over it.
Had a phone call with the solicitor and a letter has been sent.
