Ok I give in. Taken today off sick. I was up in the night with an upset stomach and keep going hot and cold. Not sure if the last bit is menopausal so I’ve slapped a patch on to see if that helps.
This weekend was spent shed building on Saturday. Just waiting for the roofing sheets to come in stock before it goes any further. Watched the rugby and that was about it. Sunday made a chicken pie and a pudding, finished joining up my crochet squares into a blanket. Just waiting for baby to arrive in October then I can post it to them.
Paid for the pickup repair and OH will get it tonight on his way home. Booked Gary Golfs MOT. OH has been having a bash at mending the exhaust but ran out of welding wire. Ordered that, so he’s sat on ramps waiting to be finished.
I did managed to brush 2.5 dogs (1 just had her face done, need to build up to doing her body).
Probably have leftover pie for tea

Yesterday’s sun shiny dog walk. Today is …… dreich!  I was a whirling dervish of activity yesterday. Scrubbed and cleaned 2 ovens. For something that’s hardly used they were minging!  Washed 3 bedroom carpets, ours was in a right state. After the dog got slathered in sudo cream, when I shaved her tummy, she shared it with the bedroom carpet when she crawled under the bed. I spot treated all the marks with vanish then nuked it with the carpet washer. The other rooms just got a tickle with the machine. I even attacked the silicone in the shower but had to admit defeat, that’s not coming clean anytime soon. Then did 2.5 hours at the b&b as they were short staffed. Also got a load of washing dry, which at this time of year I’ll take as a brucey bonus!  Got the bedding in the dryer and the towels are washing. Hoping to give everywhere a deep clean tonight with OHs help. Plus I need to get the Morrisons order as well.
So very pleased with the ladies rugby. An outstanding match. Both DDs play for a local team. I’m annoyed on their behalf, the lads team have said they can’t play matches or practice on ‘their’ pitch. They’ve been relegated to the far end. They both pay subs (as do the other ladies). I personally think the lads are being entitled and not supporting the ladies at all (and dare I say it playing very well)
I’m considering a letter to the local paper but don’t want it to come back on the DDs or ladies.
