Awww thanks it’s nice to have comments to come back to.I haven’t done very much or anything of interest. DS2 went home on Friday. He’s been a great help and chainsawed logs for us. We now have a massive pile that needs splitting. I don’t mind doing that, put done tunes on and get in the zone.Cleaned 2 cottages on Friday before my afternoon shift. They were both really clean and didn’t take long to do with 2 of us.31 covers on Friday night, most of them in the last hour so it was busy!
Got some bags of horse poo for the garden yesterday which will hopefully get used today. Went out for lunch with a friend yesterday, it was nice to do something different.Helping another friend do a cottage today. OH is working so better than sitting at home twiddling my thumbs. As I work for an English company I get the bank holiday ( it isn’t one in Scotland). So any jobs not done today will be done on Monday (hopefully)
OH has had a lovely letter off work. He’s getting a bonus and the only one at his work to get one! He’s keeping schtum about it. That won’t kick in until Octobers pay.Going to cook a gammon in the slow cooker for a couple of nights teas. The local chaps are coming on Wednesday to do the block work for shed-gate part 2. Hoping this one won’t blow away!!!
Got a massive cc bill to clear. Just waiting for wages to be paid.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Cottage cleaned, a beautiful house with stunning views. Bin walked back to the house and then had a nanna nap!
When I woke up it had stopped raining so I went to sort out my new bed. I’ve put fleece down, then some manure on top. I’ve consulted some garden gurus who said compost or top soil would be best on top of that. I’ve got a bit of compost and some ericacious (sp) compost left. It’s for flowers. Anyone any thoughts. I’ll put a pic up to give you a better idea of what I’m waffling about.I’d really like to have the back of the bed boarded but haven’t got any planks left So I think I’ll phone round for prices for top soil and compost and then make a decisionTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

So the chaps have been and completed the clockwork. It’s down to us to get the wood and finish it off. As we need to order wood, I’ve decided to put backboards on the bed pictured above so my plants are waiting patiently in their pots. I think OH is going to order the wood on Tuesday when he’s off.Cleaned 2 cottages yesterday and 1 to do today. I’m meeting OH at the garage tonight. I’ve got my instructions on getting the pick up off charge and hopefully it’ll start then the garage can scratch their heads on what’s draining the battery. It’s not due to be looked at until the 17th but they said if we get it in and a slot comes free they’ll have a look at it.I’ve got our pension paperwork out to try and decipher. I really don’t understand the jargon at all. I’m quite anxious that we haven’t got enough put away. I did phone the pension place about my contributions to see if I needed to top up. I ended up leaving a message. A person did call me back to confirm what I needed and said someone would get back to me. I haven’t heard anything since. Not sure if it’s worth paying someone for advice.I’ll probably call in at the naughty next door neighbour and have some puppy cuddles. They’re 5 weeks old on Monday. How time flies!Got an extra shift on Sunday and for the next few coming up as she’s short of people. So I’m not getting a full day off this week.Desperately need to brush the dogs.Well that turned into a bit of a waffle.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Pick up decided it prefers to stay at home aka it wouldn’t start. Back to the planning board.Cottage cleaned yesterday, didn’t take long as there were 3 of us.Did go up for puppy cuddles, they’re getting their characters through.Pension paperwork sorted. We’ve both got 3 each, all with very little in them. My best one is my very old civil service one. Not sure if I can move any of my others into it. OHs appears to be his current one. Really need to pick someone’s brains.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

We are having another pensions meeting on Tuesday. Still not sure what to do. Read in a paper that the chancellor is considering a raid on pensions, obviously no one knows for sure until the budget happens. I will probably pm you @savingholmes once we’ve had another chat.Boss lady told me on Sunday that they’ve got a buyer for the business and hoping to complete by November. They are organising a meeting with the potential new owners so we get to see them. Pleased for the boss lady and just have to wait and see what happens. The business idea I put on hold is rearing its head again, hopefully know more next week.Managed to purchase a dinky chest freezer off FB. OH picked it up on Tuesday when he went in to order wood for the shed build. It’s still sat in the car.I’m doing an extra shift on Sunday as one of the team is on holiday. Also working next Sunday for the same reason, that’ll give the wages a boost. I also missed putting my hours down for a day last month so an extra 6 hours as well to be added on.We are looking at a family holiday to Morocco next year. Can’t decide whether to do a week or 10 days.DD2 is coming up at the beginning of October. Whoop!!
DS2 is going offshore tomorrow, he’s flying to Australia and working offshore there. He’s hoping when he’s got a break he’ll be able to fly to New Zealand to see his friendsI did a bad thing ( with the best of intentions). I decided to clip the dogs tummies, it keeps them cleaner and cooler. The youngest pooch has had a really bad reaction, not sure if it’s the clippers or shaving rash. The poor thing has been driven demented. I got in from work last Sunday and OH said there was something up with her. I said I’ve clipped them and lifted her front paws and he went oh dear. Her chest was so red!! Anyway I’ve been putting hibiscrub and sudo cream on it and it looks loads better. Still feel very guilty about it.Had my hair done this week, I think we’ve cracked the colour. A new hairdresser and this was the second time she’s coloured it.Cleared the credit card. I’ve now started to buy Christmas presents, I do all year and keep my eye on the sales.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013
