It was great to see them Beanie and DGD as well. She even came and sat on my knee whilst I read the Gruffalo (favourite kids book)
It appears nasty neighbour had left (doesn’t live here full time) so I’m hoping he’s away for the party we’re having on 9 August. Praying to the weather Gods for a nice day.Had my B12 jab yesterday and had to see the doc about something else and go back in a week. It’s not fun this getting old malarkey!!!
OH has made 2 great picnic benches and I’m hoping to paint the bench part and legs today, he’s doing something extraordinary with the top.Car had 2 new tyres and had the tracking done, so I’m hoping that’s it till Christmas (5 months to go yesterday) when it’s insurance renewal and Gary Golf will need an MOT.Booked a holiday cottage for Christmas so need to pay the deposit. I’m hoping my naughty next door neighbour will have the dogs (need to ask) however the cottage will take them if it’s not feasible.Waiting for some funds to hit the account as a saver matures. This was bookmarked for the solar however the CC is mahoosive so will be used for that.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Well yesterday’s plans went mammary skywards. Had loads of stuff to do. Cue frantic phone call from naughty next door neighbour. Her dogs labour wasn’t progressing and needed rushing to the vets, could I help?
So my plans of finishing off painting the tables and numerous other stuff turned into giving mouth to mouth to puppies as they were born by ceserean section.7 healthy puppies, 4 boys and 3 girls. Mum didn’t seem very impressed but she was still very sleepy from the op.
So lots of jobs to do today!

It’s not a memory I want to recreate @savingholmes. However needs must in an emergency and all the little sausages made it (they’re dachshunds). Popped up to have a peek yesterday and they were all attached to the milk bar, very cute!
I’m watching the weather like a hawk especially the long range forecast and still praying to the weather Gods. Managed to finish painting the benches last night but had to come in as the midgies were out in force. There’s usually a breeze where we are but it was very still. Poor OH is covered in bites. There were dolphins in the loch yesterday. That’s twice we’ve seen them this year, to far out for any pics.Paid a substantial amount to the credit card but haven’t managed to clear it. The balance that was on the credit card statement has been cleared so no interest to be charged.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Crikey, definitely batten down the hatches!! It is blowing a hooley out there and lots of ominous noises coming from the roof. I’m adopting the ostrich position and will survey the damage (hopefully none) once it has passed. My Morrisons order has been cancelled which is understandable as they drive over from Inverness. Somehow I’ve managed to bag a spot for tomorrow and reordered everything.I’m actually quite glad I don’t have to go anywhere.OH and I watched the bin go for a wander. He did retrieve it before he went to work and plonked it in the garage.I’m posting this now as the internet keeps dipping.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Gulp. Stay safe. I just looked at Glasgow departures as I have a friend flying to Reykjavik and saw the Kirkwall flight was on time. I erroneously thought it wouldn't be too bad then in the Isles2
