    Tell you what would be useful is if the glitch could somehow only affect apostrophes being typed in the wrong places! :D

    Here's one on an iPad now corrected on an iPad

    Well that gave !!!8217; but now i will correct it to ' on a Mac. yep that fixed it. The first one on "let's" I've left but here's was initially here!!!8217;s

    So, seems it is something to do with iPads. Maybe the IOS version people are on? This iPad is 11.2.1 I!!!8217;ll upgrade to 11.2.5 anyway as I was going to do that and see what happens.
    But I havent changed that in the last few hours, so its something done to the forum software.

    Ok upgraded to 11.2.5 let!!!8217;s try if it!!!8217;s made any difference

    Interestingly, I didn't have this problem at all yesterday.

    However, just now, Thursday morning, I noticed the glitch with apostrophes after I posted something, plus a different glitch with a string of full stops.

    However, after I edited the glitchy numbers out, and retyped the apostrophes and full stops, they were ok.



    Test:

    "I've put Sam's sister's bottles away."

    That went ok! No editing needed.

    Let's try full stops

    ............................


    That's ok too.

    So it's an intermittent thing, or perhaps there's another factor we've not thought of?


    All those were ok, too.

    By the way, I'm still on iOS 10.
