Thank you for all the birthday greetings everyone 😀I did indeed recover in time to eat my takeaway and it was seriously yummy. The restaurant is called Absurd Bird and they basically sell fried chicken, however they also do an amazing vegan substitute which is gorgeous, so I had a chicken burger with barbecue sauce, lettuce, tomato and coleslaw with fries plus 3 chicken tenders with maple syrup dip and Apple pie and custard 😍😍😍
I love maple syrup on savoury food after going to the USA and having breakfast at a Denny's Diner I ate meat back then so had bacon with maple syrup 😍😍 plus good old pancakes 😀
Today I had to go into town for some more paint and some bits for DD that she needs for her trip away, she is going to Edinburgh on Saturday morning and won't be back until Wednesday evening. I'm being left unsupervised for 5 whole days 🙀🙀
Tomorrow Im looking after DGS 1 because his Granny who would normally have him is on holiday,I haven't looked after him since before the first lockdown so it will be interesting to say the least. Sadly I have to go back into town to exchange some of the bits I got DD today, I'm going to take him for lunch though and to visit a toy shop so hopefully he won't mind, he is quite excited because I've told him I have saved him some of my chocolate birthday cake 😀 Hopefully we will also have time to go to the park as well. I'm also going to look for a board game tomorrow because he quite likes playing them and so do I 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8944 -
It was raining 😀 I have an ongoing joke that it always rains on my birthday but the last couple of years have been really hot except for yesterday 😀Cherryfudge said:Happy birthday!
