Sun_Addict said:On a separate note on The One Show tonight was my old 80s heartthrob John Taylor from Duran Duran. Loved him and David Sylvian from Japan back in the day. I was attracted to Mr SA on the basis of him having a long blonde fringe over one eye ala John and David. Look where that got me 🤣Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

I had a twin tub when I got my first council flat, I had been living in a bed sit so used the launderette but then I had DD1 and moved into a flat so could have a washing machine, it was 1984 and I could have had an automatic but I was too scared to use one so got a second had twin tub from a family friend, it used to take ages to do the washing and it took up most of the kitchen floor when it was pulled out to be used 😂Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1204

Bit late but happy Saturday 🥂
Another exciting day in the life of SA 😆 The highlight was going to Lidl this morning. I know how to live 🤣 Mr SA took the shopping home on his scooter and I walked the dog back home. The dog likes going to Lidl, she likes to 💩 on the wood bark bit in the car park. Took the dog on the park after lunch and that’s my Saturday.I started feeling a bit rough after lunch. To be honest I didn’t feel great yesterday, felt very tired. Now I feel achy, got a bit of a cough and sore throat. I’ll be cross if I’ve picked something up from work, there have been several cases of Covid since we started returning. I know there’s a super cold doing it’s rounds too.Anyway the Prosecco is chilling in the fridge ready for Strictly, it’ll do my throat good 😉 Veggie burger, salad and wedges for tonight’s evening meal.Hope everyone is having a fabulous day.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
The dog certainly knows how to live though SA. She must be in doggie heaven!🤣
Im sorry to hear you're feeling rough and fingers crossed it's nothing to do with the dreaded 🦠! There is definitely a super cold around as a friend of mine has succumbed even though she's been WFH and doesn't go out that much.Tuck yourself up with the Prosecco tonight while enjoying Strictly - it has great medicinal powers!😃🍾Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

We have both had the mega cold and it certainly isn't the best. It's a lingerer.
We have had a few cases of Covid in the office this week. Funny how everyone suddenly starts social distancing and wearing masks again when that was announced!5 -
There were more people in on Wednesday and quite a few sitting together as a team. They all looked to be early 20s age group. One young bloke was draped across a desk with a sign on it saying don’t use it chatting to a girl at the next desk, definitely not social distancing.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

We had a twin tub too when I was a child - washing was a major event when the huge machine got pulled into the middle of the kitchen and hoses got hooked up to taps and into the sink to drain. We lived in a flat and we must have defeated everyone in the flats below as it always shuddered and juddered it's way across the floor.I've got that cold too. Went for lunch in a busy restaurant in the week - not a face mask in sight and the communal areas were very squashy. I'm sure our immune systems are very low as we haven't done much mixing for so long.
hope you feel a bit better and thanks for the tip about the medicinal qualities of Prosecco.3 -
Hope the Prosecco and Strictly work their magic and you feel better soon.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Happy Sunday
Should be NSD 11/15 today. Will I make it to 15 🤔
I think I’m going to cancel my planned work from the office day on Tuesday. I still feel achy and don’t fancy sitting in a cold draughty office all day. I’ve got a catch up with my manager tomorrow so will discuss it with her.Not sure what we’re doing today. I don’t particularly feel like traipsing all over, it might just be the park across the road today. What a lifesaver that park has been, so handy to have it just steps away.
Grabbed a steak out of the freezer for Mr SA’s dinner. I’m going to look at my recipes for inspiration for me, don’t know what I fancy yet.
Have a good one 😎I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9
