Work was better than it was last week company wise. On another note you can see how Covid rates are rising as I witnessed many incidences of young colleagues not social distancing. Work are putting everything in place to keep the office safe but it’s down to the people who use it to adhere to the rules. I definitely do less work in the office, I kept getting interrupted for one thing or another. Also had a windows wars stand off with someone who had opened the window to its full extent 😡 It was quite mild today but windy and I’m not sitting in a draught. I fear this is going to become a real issue as the weather gets colder.
Picked up Mr SA’s glasses ok but had to ask them to change the case from bright pink to a more masculine colour 🙄
Managed to spend £17 on Halloween stuff in £land. A lot of it is for the GKs though.Picked up some beer for Mr SA in Lidl but couldn’t get hold of him on the phone to come and pick up the bags. He eventually called me back but I was the best part of the way home with several cans of beer on my shoulder by the time he reached me. He knew I was going to ring him around that time 😡I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
In my DGD’s school some of the children wear coats in the classroom as they have to have windows open for ventilation. As the school is near the coast and no windbreaks that wind that comes from off the sea is freezing at times. X:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.005

Tonight’s gems from Mr SA - he can’t believe Beverley Callard is only 59 (she’s 64, have googled it), he wants a Santa outfit and a diary. He also asked me if it was 2002 next year. Beam me up Scottie 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

When I was last in school a good while back every door and window was open…..it was like a fridge and that was a cool day in summer. Dread to think what it’ll be like in winter 😳January spends - £587.585

We have all the windows open in the hospital which is ok for most of it because it's so hot anyway, our windows only open about four inches to stop people escaping but we have to have them all open in the staff room and it's freezing in there, I sat there with my coat on 🥶Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1205

Morning all, happy Thursday, almost Friday 😄
Oh the bliss of WFH, really appreciate it now I'm getting a taste of working in the office. It was rather wet and windy this morning, wouldn't have been pleasant for walking to work.
Today will be NSD 9/15, hitting target will be tight but still doable. I need to go back to Lidl as I couldn't get all I wanted to yesterday thanks to Mr SA not answering his phone, hoping to stretch this out until Saturday if I can.
I need to give the bathroom a good clean today and will do the rest of the upstairs rooms at the same time.
Considering caving in and getting a tumble dryer. Not had one for years and have just about managed. I bought a heated airer rail last year, it's ok but it takes ages to dry stuff and it always seems to be in the way wherever I put it. Mr SA's and DD's clothes are huge and take up lots of space. Mr SA creates a lot of laundry. Having loads of wet washing around the last few days has really got me down, especially the king sized bedding. I don't have room for one in the kitchen as I sacrificed appliance space for extra cupboards but it would fit in the spare room quite nicely. Something to think about anyway.
Today's exercise will be dog walking and a FitOn workout after work. Will look at what needs using up in the fridge/freezer to make my evening meal. Mr SA is having chicken casserole so he's sorted.
Have a good one.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Good morning. Yes WFH on nasty days is so much better.
I have a washer dryer which is good for emergencies, but mostly in winter everything gets thrown on the radiators in the kitchen and bathroom (I have tall towel radiators in those rooms with lots of racks). I really loved my heated airier and found things dried quickly as long as I put a sheet over the top like a tent, but it was always in the way and MrWW didn’t like it hanging around…you can’t win really. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

SA I have never had a tumble dryer until I moved into this house I haven’t used it yet but I had room for one and I thought I was sick of a clothes horse on top of the landing in the other house it was a permanent fixture in the winter when I had bedding and towels I won’t use it much probably just to finish things off to get them put away but if I had mr SA living with me and his accidents I think it would be a godsend6
