The nails are amazing. Im sure your dil wil do well with her business.Sorry that MR SA has had a reaction to the flu jab.I’d be tempted to do a little something for yourself whilst at work…even if it’s a coffee in peace.January spends - £587.586

I’m running away to the seaside @WinterWarrior 🤣 Preferably the Lanzarote seaside where it’s summer all year round 😎 🏖
DIL only seems to be only doing nails for family and friends, she has an interview for a call centre type job WFH, same place as her mum, having not worked since she had the GKs. It’s a shame as she has a real passion for nails.Mr SA seems to have recovered from his mini man flu experience and having spent most of the day in bed is now downstairs watching TV and cracking open the beers.Took the dog on the park across the road a couple of times today on my own, we more or less had the whole park to ourselves as it was raining. The wellies are back out now.Got a very busy work day tomorrow, work figures first thing then 2 long meetings so won’t be a late one tonight.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Morning all, happy Monday. Not sure if the words happy and Monday belong together though 😆
The cat woke me up at 4am purring on my pillow and administered acupuncture to my head with her claws, didn't really get back to sleep properly after that.
Today will be NSD 8/15, getting there slowly. Small underspend of £7.26 last week which has gone to the Christmas pot. The Christmas pot is starting to get used, I bought DGD's present last week and will be getting DGS's present this week now I know what to get him. Christmas pot now gone down to £542.16 which is plenty to cover it all (says she confidently 😂).
Busy work day today, have already done the work figures but coming up next are 2 long meetings, one before lunch and one after. Today will fly by.
Today's cleaning task is the kitchen. Need to do a meal plan for the week ahead. Exercise will be dog walking at lunchtime and a treadmill run after work.
Have jigged my budget about a bit and broken it down into smaller pots so I can keep a closer eye on what I spend. It's the same amount of money just broken it down.
I need to start tracking what I eat again as the past few weeks have been a bit slack.
Have a good one.

Pleased to read that Mr SA has recovered. 👍Your nails look great! Your DIL has done a fab job on them!🎃. Shame she can't get a job as a nail technician. My DD said that appears to have been a bit of a mini explosion in nail and beauty salons opening in her town since end of lockdown. I suppose your DIL would have to take childcare into consideration though. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

That was Monday done at 3pm seeing as I started at 7. We had to stop part way through the afternoon meeting to do the one minutes silence for Sir David.Spoke to my manager today and told her I don’t plan to be in the office for more than one day a week going forward, she’s ok with that. There’s a possibility of me being permanent WFH but she thinks that the interaction with colleagues would be beneficial for me even if it’s only once a week. The situation is being monitored anyway to see how it goes.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8
