Must be boring sat in the office on your own.
I'm finding that the days do pass quite quickly in the office but we have a full team in so we have the atmosphere which helps.2 -
I’m just sitting here all on my own. Not seen anyone to talk to since first thing. Obviously I’ve got work to do but I could’ve done it at home just as effectively. I’m going at 3.30 as I’ll have done my hours.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

That's not good being on your own. Why do they want you going once a week?Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.4

2.30 is a bit on the early side! Hope you sleep better tonight!
DH was almost the only person in the building last Saturday as he had to book office space when our internet was playing up. His supervisor sent him home early in case he got locked in - it's a massive place and it would be rather easy to miss a solitary worker on a Saturday. I do remember when someone with a health condition went missing in the building and everyone got an alert to keep a look out. I think they were found as I never heard any more!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

Happy Friday 😄
I slept like a log last night.
Thank goodness I'm back to WFH today. I was absolutely shattered last night. Mr SA had done absolutely nothing, not even got the washing in or fed the dog and cat so I had it all to do when I got back. Fortunately Mr SA's evening meal was already in the slow cooker on a timer but I must make an effort to sort myself something out to eat that's quick, I ended up not eating until 8pm. I know it's just a matter of getting used to a different routine once a week and I need to organise myself a bit better on those days. Dreading it when it's 2-3 days in the office, I'm hoping to be able to keep it to 2 at the most.
Octopus Energy are coming to fit me a smart meter. The one I have currently belongs to Scottish Power. I'm on a fixed tariff right now, it ends in December, dreading how much it's going to go up to and can't do anything about it at the moment like everyone else. I refuse to sit here cold so will have to put up with it.
A while ago I registered an interest in receiving an Oddbox fruit/veg delivery when they became available in my area. I had an email yesterday to say they will shortly be delivering locally. For those that haven't heard of it, it's a subscription service that sells wonky/surplus fruit/veg that would normally go to waste. For now they only deliver in the London area but they are expanding.
Today will be another spends day as I've got the hairdressers after work. This week has been an expensive one.
I need to give the bathroom a good clean today and have a general clean tidy up of the rest of the house ready for the weekend. We have our flu jabs tomorrow morning at 8am, hope Mr SA realises he needs to get up early!
Have a good one.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

Gas and electric are a nightmare at the moment. We are on a variable rate tariff and it has gone up massively but we can't switch suppliers and get a fixed rate. We would be paying far more to do so. So we are going to have to hang tight at the moment and hope our supplier doesn't go bust!
Like you we won't sit in the cold so will just have to bite the bullet and pay what it costs. Thankfully our house doesn't take much heating and stays nice and warm. It hasn't been cold enough for the heating to come on yet.4
